COMPENSATION for people who lost their trading fees due to downtime

Small amount or not, losing money due to stuff that is completely out of your hands is infuriating. You ever had a paid subscription service accidentally double charge your card? Completely out of your hands, and their fault, AND you expect them to give you back what got lost on their end.

Its the exact same thing here. The amount of gold being lost doesn’t matter. And I’d agree with you if this were just a case of sell orders expiring, but this is a case of sell orders expiring due to the inability for other players to buy your shit because the devs shut trading down, and put no system in place to protect these players tax investments in their product.

No, it isn’t. In your first example you are talking about real money, in this case it isn’t real money. That’s a pretty major difference.

The comparison is actually pretty apt, especially when people are actively getting frustrated over their in-game money getting dicked on just like they would get if it were real life.

The fact that some people take a video game WAY too seriously does not make your comparison a good one, sorry.

Yeah, p2w games… But not to be nice, to make it “standard” for you to buy stuff for the premium currency. Its a trap…

I am not the one asking for compensation for anyone.

Obviously you dont have valuable shit on the trading post because high value items can often cost several hundred coin for listing.

yeah i replied to the wrong person

+1

you actually are toxic here, just an fyi

Yeah maybe initaly I’ve choosen the wrong words to describe what I’ve ment. I just want the fees back. Nothing more.

Compensation please or I quit, it’s my 2 days off, was planning on grinding mats and selling them then using the profits to flip gems or whatever else is on the market. Was averaging 10k a day on my weekends in the past. So like I’m out of profit like 10k per day the servers are down… kinda BS and really makes me not want to come back. So yeah 20k for the 2 days of downtime or I’m legit out 300hrs is enough time for me :sleepy:

maybe you only sell iron ore for .01 but I list void ore and pristine pearls for 3 days and it costs a lot in listing fees to do so.

Maybe you got a crappy 5k house and don’t pay 3x 1500 gold fees ever 5 days (when is 7 day change coming already…) So yes, 2-3 days on a game this very dry on giving out gold is an issue. If you don’t see this you’re playing the poor man version of this game.

Well, I can see you’re making a ton of huge mistakes. Owning 5k houses is the correct move as there is almost no benefit whatsoever to owning the bigger houses. I pay less rent on a single house than you do on all 3 of yours and I have virtually the same exact benefits lol so that’s kind of embarrassing that you actually think you’re the smart one here.

Also, listing void ore on the trade house is also usually a mistake as you can just list it in general chat and sell it while completely avoiding fees entirely. Not to mention that if you do list it on the trade post there’s literally no reason whatsoever to list it for more than 1 day as either it will sell within 24 hours or it’s almost certainly not going to sell at all.

So no I’m not playing the poor man version I’m just playing the smarter version.

At least you can do faction missions. I’m stuck at the trading post like a statue. Either that or drop all my weight on the ground. Feels bad man. 8(

How so? I said they popped off, and didn’t say anything constructive in those comments where they popped off. That’s not toxic at all!

Right? Every time you put an order in the Trade Post, someone from AGS adds a purchase order or invoice in your paper based file. So now they have to go and check those manually for every player, that’s way toooo much. I mean why would they even use a database, with queries that can be built in few minutes. Who does that?!

Goodbye my deposit money, goodbye!

87 other items will be expired tomorrow

And yes my average item value is 3000 gold.

I came on here just to say this. If they’re shutting off the primary source of income then they need to pause the property taxes as well.
