Completely unacceptable queue system

After spending the time and money to get the Amrine tuning orb and joining a group, I made my way to the Amrine dungeon location very much looking forward to getting my first dungeon underway. Then as soon as I begin loading the dungeon my whole game crashes. But wait it gets better, when I try logging back in I get stuck in a 400+ person queue. But wait, it gets better, when I do get back in not only am I removed from the group but the tuning orb that I spent time crafting is no longer in my inventory. If the game crashes there needs to be a couple minute leeway for people to log back into the game, wasting multiple hours of a player’s time between a wasted item and getting stuck in queue for the games crashing problem is a surefire way to lose players over time.

This issue will be gone in a week, if even that.

Also there are at least 3 tuning orbs for free from quest chains, probably more tbh. But yeah, the fact you lost the orb sucks, that shouldnt have happened at least.

I’ve made new characters on low pop servers several times only to have the server become full and be back to the long queues. I’m done deleting and making new characters on different servers.

It doesn’t matter if the issue is going to be gone in a week or so. This issue is garbage design from the start.

The queue system should automatically include a grace period that allows players to get back in.

Sorry this happened to you, my company has experienced this same type of thing numerous times and it’s really breaking the overall satisfaction of the game. I myself experienced the exact issue a few moments ago.

My company and I are out running corruptions and my client locks up and when I log back in I am stuck in a 400 deep queue. It’s ridiculous and should be priority zero to get fixed.

If it’s fixed soon then yeah not a big deal, just some frustrations at launch which is to be expected. But apparently at high levels the tuning orbs are a royal pain to get (from Youtube people are saying that at least, can’t say personally), if this happens at endgame that’s going to be infuriating.

Exactly this, I expect crashes on launch, but to not give leeway to reenter a queue after crash is something I can’t fathom. WoW for all it’s problems at least had this right.

The issue will not be gone in a week. They’re offering a one-off server switch. That doesn’t solve the problem. Indefinite server switching would.

This issue will NOT be gone in a week as bots are making the problem compound exponentially. The more time passes the more bots are appearing especially fishing bots and those affect the queues.

I was on a low pop server 4 days ago, now there are a minimum of 20+ bots at every small lake I walk by and gold spams for $ are now common on my server which was low pop but tonight has 500 people waiting in line.

At this rate I ll play after midnight…

The current system is unacceptable if the bots and queues are not dealed with

Yeah I’m not sure what the bot fishers are doing. Because they definitely aren’t actually fishing. I’m assuming your Gold Farmer issue and Fisher Bot issue are probably one and the same.

Sorry little fella that sounds terribad. But did you choose to play on a high pop server? Free will comes at the cost of consequences brosephus

No I specifically sought to avoid a high pop server. I started off on the Frislandia server which was high pop at the time, after a day of dealing with queues I decided that it wasn’t for me and rolled on a then low pop server in Vidblain. Well two days later the low pop Vidblain server turned into a high pop server and now there’s queues once again.
