Congrats on making soloable quests un-soloable

If you use the war hammer or spear you can chain stun them and kill the ones with a shield pretty easy.

You have someone holding your hand every time you logon?
If it’s a “no” then you have your answer.

Because often you can’t find a group. Not all have friends they can play with in a game

I absolutely hate this response when a question or a debate like this pops up, just because it says MMO does not mean it has to be played 100% of the time with other players I don’t understand why people don’t get that. These quests are literally designed to be solo’d there is no benefit to grouping up and doing them and the dwindling player base means that the majority of this content if it remains a group activity is closed off to most players who want to play solo. This game is already too group-focused, in my opinion, huge portions of the game are off-limits to solo players who by the way assist in economic growth in games like this because we solo players are generally the ones out gathering or crafting.

Yeah, the hit points on some of the bosses are insane now. They could halve the HP on a lot of them and they’d still take too long to kill, even for the small group I run in on an evening.

They’re not harder fights now, they’re just tedious.

I would like to know if the buff to non elite mobs is even intentional. Its not listes anywhere and there have been a lot of accidental changes in this patch.

I could always handle 2+ with a hatchet before 1.1. , which i maxxed hatchet mastery.
So now i have to use weapons that i’ve barely ever touched and dont have the aforementioned abilities?
See this is what I’m talking about. Fundamental changes to combat system should have been addressed and done in beta. I would rather have dealt with crappy framerates , random disconnects for a month, if it resulted in them making tehse changes before release.

I never really had problems soloing individual mobs in this game. My issues were solo quests that I couldn’t complete because the respawn timer was too fast and I’d never be able to make it past the beginning or loot a chest because I’d eventually get swarmed and overwhelmed.

Because you don’t understand people. That’s a YOU problem. Bars, clubs, parties… you should probably go to one someday.

That’s been my problem, too.

If the servers were 10000 players then this scaling would make sense ,right now everything they have done makes no sense.

I also have the hatchet and have used it A LOT, but trust me, try that warhammer. You will more or less perma stun the mobs so they can’t block or dodge or empower before you kill them and you take no damage. I am telling you this because you mentioned the skeletons with a shield and spear and I do them daily in Reekwater, lvl 62-64 silver mobs. I just stun them over and over and Nuke them with heavy attacks when they are stunned.

I’m not gonna comment on your other stuff because to be perfectly honest, you are just whining a lot. Adapt my man! Switch around a little. It’s no biggie.

Yes and I agree with him, if you dont like playing with ppl then dont play MMO games.

Game is trash. Don’t listen to 90% of these idiots replying. You are correct, it’s a joke.

You forgot to add /s to your comment.

If it’s an MMO doesn’t mean you have to always rely on others to do content in game, most of the time the schedule doesn’t align with your friends schedule and then you cannot find any people to party with you for missions especially on low pop servers.

ok so all we need to do now is equip a Hammer and thats a solution?
why not throw the great axe in the mix as well, then forget all the other weapons,
Grind to your hearts content, enjoy the game but dont forget this is Hammer time!!

MMO = Massive multiplayer Online, right? Not Massive MultiGroup Online.
MMO per say have noting to do with group/party. Personally I like the old days of UO when it was friendly fire and no real group mechanic.

Congrats on making the game fun again you mean

Yes, but until there is a way to share quests you’re still playing alone, it’s just next to other people.
Even if you’re in a group chances are only one of you has the right quest, so only one of you is getting full benefit from being there.
I like playing with my company members, but it involves helping them with their quests, or them helping me with my quests.
Hell you can’t even get the same quests from the faction giver at the same time.
