If anything, they should have nerfed the AOEs like Sacred Ground or Beacon, but not Blissful Touch. It just makes no sense. You’re still going to see those moves dominating in PVP. You’re still going to get your ass handed to you just like before… So you’re cheering for literally nothing.
Dude, I’m fine in PvE is what I’m saying. We haven’t had any trouble with any mob in the game and then some. My healer even says all the time that healing is super easy mode in this game. The only mob that wrecks us SOMETIMES is the flaming sword guys in upper Myrkguard if I let aggro slip (I’m a tank). And that’s my fault not his. I can’t see
How you all don’t have like 100 infused health pots and the ability to know when to dodge, keep aggro on the tank, you know basic MMO skills…. Is beyond me
PvP is not like I’m getting face rolled, it’s that armies are trying to kill solo life staff users and they just heal and heal and slip away.
oh no the one fun thing in the game past the constant bugs that plague everything is gone. better not say anything about it and just quietly leave the game. then everyone will just go huh, the playerbase keeps cutting itself in half, i wonder why. none of them are giving feedback
Just FYI: PVP meta for healers is Sacred Ground/Beacon spam and heavy armor. They literally did not touch any of that here. They changed PVE moves.

The Life Staff needs nerfs in pve as well… we are not talking about pvp only. As I said content is boring if you can facetank everything while relying on healing. Healing should not be enough by iteself, you should also need to block and dodge.
Your comments make absolutely no sense, and they are so incredibly ironic. You are saying that we need to get good at pvp, while you cant even heal in pve and people are dying even though healing is still too strong. Try using your defensives. There are mechanics you can utilize in the game to avoid taking damage. Learn to play the game.
your point about life staff being OP is irrelevant here because they haven’t made it any less OP in the way you’re suggesting. the nerfs they’ve done haven’t changed the undying nature of healers in the slightest. its just made it more annoying to heal others and remove debuffs with basic and heavy attacks, mostly in pve. the healing output in pvp is the same as it was before. these nerfs don’t effect hybrid classes at all in any way, hybrid classes don’t use life staff light and heavy attacks, which are what got nerfed. hybrids swap weapons after casting sacred ground and beacon.
You’re right, we’re still hoping for PVP nerfs too. All I’m saying is that I’m not that sympathetic to the people that have to try harder to heal now, when it was set to super easy mode before.
You’re right about the PVP, I’m just saying it’s an overreaction to quit the game because they made the life staff a little harder in PVE.
Bro I slap ass in both PVP and PVE and I roll around in light armor and solo most of my elite quests. I’m good to go, trust me. I’m just here to argue that the devs made the wrong nerfs here and PVP will not change at all. They literally just screwed over PVE healers.
Why is it an overeaction to leave the game over changes we don’t like. Isn’t that the nature of things in life? We move away from the things that we don’t agree with in all manner of things. Why would games be any different?
You can leave, and you are free to do so. I just don’t think they changed something worth leaving the game over. Not restricting your choice in any way, just stating my opinion.
If you’ve come for validation for your choice… let me tell you from a lot of experience… an Internet forum is not always a good place to find that!
But they did not touch damage part of the life staff, just healing from auto attacks. We will use them anyway, they lower cooldowns and there is no reason to switch in the thick of the combat.
You statement is based on your opinion not the changes.
Everyone saying healers are OP i can’t help but laugh at. All this base a games design on 1v1 bull crap. How often are you 1v1 in a war? Have have of the get good mentality even partaken in wars? I know on my server the opposing factions know the good healers by name and you get grps that will hunt you down. My plate armor + con can’t save me from a harasser squad that hunts you down. Me standing in my SG and Beacon is a game mechanic suprise! Just like every other class has its strong abilities. My kit is only healing. My dmg is weak, my back bar weapon with an amber GEM BROKEN so yea can’t fall back on that to do insane burst dmg like a rapier build or a bow/spear. It’s pretty easy to get cc’d knock back/out of my rings and die when perma cc’d There is a million other things they could have done and fixed before breaking my *splash heals" from mending touch and breaking my cleanse ability. As of now I’ll just remove those 2 passives as they don’t work. Just disappointed in AGS in there failed attempts at fixing things. A zillion exploits in the game, broken perks, broken gems, broken skills. But hey lets target healers. GG
I still hope this is just a first part of the improvements… a change which - without the second part - is just nerf… they wrote it will affect both perks, but we can see just the splash heal nerf, no change in debuff cleansing.
Dude you’re not supposed to be able to do insane burst damage as a healer. Then there’s be no need for those other weapons you list.

Interesting how the numbers just keep climbing from the ‘nerf it’ crowd. First it was 1v1, then 2v1, 3v1, 5v1, now 12v1.
This was pretty Much just a PVE nerf that’s not what was needed at all.
I can only speak from my own experience, but I have seen 12 people at least try to kill a solo life staff user at the same time and saw them. Just heal to full constantly and slip away until reinforcements arrive like a solid minute later.
You just don’t understand!
LS destroys everyone in 50vs1, you need to ban all life staff users!
Healers will become arcanists, simple fix. 
Edit: It might also save economy.
the debuff cleanse used to have a splash as well, now it doesnt. the splash is what they removed, and they did as a game performance fix, not a life staff combat performance fix. they say this in the notes. “fix war performance with magic aoe changes” “life staff passive performance improvements” I’m fairly certain they did not mean combat performance, because these changes do not improve the life staffs performance in any way.
