I do not know what causes this issue because it just appeared 3 hours after I have never seen it before. I have posted this on Reddit also for players to interact and see if their game is also doing the same, under the circumstances. I have read all the posts on this forum regarding the “mm_connerr_rep_timeout” error, and done each and every one of them, even reinstalled the game, did port forwards, and even called my ISP and asked them to ping my connection, no issues on my end.

What I did notice, is that you have a ‘connect to twitch’ on the top of my screen that I never had before, while friends I play with do not have that on their screen, when I did not have it, I was able to connect, now that I am unable to connect, I cannot help but notice I have options in my game that others do not have. I feel that is more than just a coincidence. Question is, why do you have two versions of the game?

Whether I am connected to Twitch or not does not matter, what does matter is that so long as that is on my screen, I cannot connect to a server, without error. I cannot even get servers to pop up, they simply do not populate, they tell me “@mm_connerr_rep_timeout” each and every time.

I have disconnected Twitch from Amazon, and Amazon from Twitch, and everything in between, I have reinstalled the game a second time after that, restarted my PC, closed Steam and opened, it still tells me to connect to twitch, it never did that before, what changed? Why suddenly do I have a different version of the game, that does not work? Why is it in these very forums, people have said this, in their responses to you, to help troubleshoot issues, yet it’s gone completely overlooked not to be looked into?

I need a resolution, I am wasting my weekend and this has grown extremely frustration. Why am I getting a game version that has “connect to twitch,” on it, and why is this connect to the servers not loading? This is clearly a bug.

Does any player, or anyone have any sort of suggestion besides the mundane @mm error fixes? I have done all those, there’s nothing more to do there.

Hello,

I had the same problem for over an hour.
I relaunched the game several times and always got the same error.
I followed the tutorial to reset DNS but without effect.

I just found a solution that seems to work :
I installed and launched a VPN (connection in my current country of France).

I relaunched the game and miracle I have access to my server, my character and I can connect.

Tried that already, does not do a thing for me. Amazon ‘devs’ need to fix this. Getting a little old, this bug and all the rest.

“Connect Twitch Account” button is present and none of the server info/updates/news panes will even load now.

Forwarded port - flushed dns - restarted router / steam anything that could help nothing.

Do any of you in this thread have adblocking on your router, adblocking DNS, or some VPN with adblocking built in?

I had this issue and found it was caused by blocklists updating last night and blocking an entire amazon domain (a2z.com), which New World uses to manage login services.

Whitelisting the a2z.com domain resolved it for me.

What QuinnM said and this person on Reddit seems to fix it. Thank you guys so much! Please everyone DO THIS and see if it works for you. I had the app called “AdGuard” blocking this, whitelisted and it works fine!

I just got knocked out too. The news panels don’t load and I have that “connect Twitch” button now. I was playing just fine 10 hours ago before bed.

How did you whitelist it under Adguard? I tried adding a user filter rule but it didn’t work. I had to disable Adguard on NW login for it to pass. Also, looking at some of the filters for a2z.com, they have ad’s stuff under that domain.

I tried all suggestions relating to this issue to fix and nothing has worked! I have 151 hours played and just started having this issue today. My friend who doesn’t have the “connect to twitch” button at the top is still able to play just fine but I have that button at the top and that seems like a major coincidence like the original poster has said. How the heck does the dev team not check for this stuff??

I turned it off. It’s tricky to make an exception/whitelist. Ask their support where to go, but for now just disable it when you play New World.

i tryed the whitelist a2z.com and it worked i am using avast so i had to just go into
