Connection error @mm_connerr_rep_timeout since maintenance

I am receiving this error no matter to which continent i try to connect. Even in EU where i have 40 ms.
The strange things is that before the maintenance i had no problems and i was even playing in an American server with over 200 ms without any problems.
I tried dns flushing, restarting the router, drivers update, re-installed the game, basically every possible fix i saw in the forum i think i tried.
I figured out that it might be something connected to my internet provider because when i use my phone (which im currently doing to write this topic) and i am using my router wifi i cannot log into the site as well. But when i switch to my mobile internet i don’t have any problems.
Still i cannot figure out a way to fix it and the most interesting part it is that yesterday and today i was playing without any problems until a few hours.

Hello, I am having exactly the same problem. Was playing all day yesterday and earlier today…even after maintenance I was able to play. Then I tried to switch regions and started to get the error - tried all mentioned above by the OP.

This worked for me - I found a free VPN and used it for like 2 min - launch game, region swap, char select, hit play. Queue opened up. I then closed the VPN, it dropped me from the queue but kept the game open and I was able to just click play again.

I’ve been having the same issue since shortly after maintenance yesterday. After attempting all suggested troubleshooting steps on reddit/amazon connectivity troubleshooting and such, and resetting everything back to how it was before maintenance, I randomly managed to log in, however couple of hours later I started getting 6000ms and constant Lag Detected errors - making the game basically unplayable. Troubleshooting included multiple game restarts/router restarts/dns flush/disabling ipv6/updating drivers/lowering ingame settings.
I contacted my ISP and they claimed the issue isn’t on their side. I haven’t had any connectivity issues with any other game in the meantime, so I’m inclined to believe the issue is indeed on amazon games’ side.
Since yesterday afternoon I have received errors such as “failure to configure”;“unable to establish connection with the server”;“mm_connerr_rep_timeout”.
All servers (including europe where I normally have 40ms tops) have increased their ms from my side with US East being the worst with 9999m timeouts - which is where I currently play with my company.
If anyone has any ideas on how to troubleshoot this, I will sing songs of your heroism, wisdom and bravery all over Valhalla.

Sure hope there’s a fix soon. I tried all of the suggestions I’ve found except completely uninstalling and reinstalling. (Verified game files, flushed DNS etc., VPN, multiple restarts to get screen w/o Twitch, disabled net card, went with net cable instead of wireless, disabled IPv6 on net card and wireless, got a Twitch account–enabled-disabled) I don’t think it’s on my end. I played fine yesterday, today… mm_conerr_rep_timeout is all I can get. I hope everyone who finds this says “me, too” so that the dev team understands that this is affecting a lot of players.

Me too! I’ve been searching and searching for 2 days, all of my friends can play just fine… I have AT&T Fiber, in case anyone else also has it.

Turned off FIrewall, AV, Flushed DNS, rebooted router, modem, computer, verified files, no luck.

Last night I did uninstall and reinstall and I was able to play. I come back today, and I have the same mm_conerr_rep_timeout error. I’m not download a 40GB game every freaking day to play it.

Thankfully I have under 2 hours in it, so I’ll just get a refund at this point. I would urge others to do the same so we tell them how we really feel.

For anyone that’s still having issues, go into your network adaptor propteries and change your DNS entry to:
4.4.4.4
and
8.8.8.8 as a backup.

I think mine was out of date and I’m double NATed so something probably got stuck and wasn’t updating, after changing that I’m working!!

Glad that worked for you @ry8s, but I tried that and got the same error.

Using a free VPN service from hide.me worked – and strangely – I got to a page without the Twitch bar in the upper right corner. I’m going to try that again today, and I’ll report back what I learn. Curiouser and curiouser. :thinking:

Confirmed. If the Connect via Twitch blue bar is on the top right of the screen, I can’t get in. If I get a screen without it, I’m good to go.

I tough it was our ISP, i guess it’s what we call FAI, those who provide your internet wich is Orange

But seems like you guys having the same shit for a long time.

I played this morning at 3am and everything was okay, now i tried at 11am to connect, and nothing, no char, no servs, conerr_rep_timeout since the maintenance also it seems

I can get the game to display my char, server, and try to get in ( queue ofc ) by using my phone as a modem.

But i get 400ms instead of 40

I think this was the one that worked, I connected to workplace VPN (which has different DNS) and can now play. I think my ISP is just bad at dealing with stuff like these.

I found something in another post that fixed it for me, regarding the Twitch thing.

-Go into the game options menu
-Under the “Twitch” tab, enable the first option at the top
-Exit the options menu
-Re-enter the menu and disable that Twitch setting again
-Reboot game

This removed the Twitch button at the top of the character-select menu, and it also fixed my connection issue. None of the other things people were suggesting worked for me, so hopefully this will help someone.

I ran into this issue as well. I have DNS based ad-blocking on my network.

I found the issue seemed to be “service.maestro.us-east-1.social.games.a2z.com”. One of my blocklists blocked everything from a2z.com. Once I disabled the filter I was able to connect without issue.

This suggestion around the ad blocklist fixed my issue on this. I have eero secure, added both of these sites (with the correct realm) to my exception list and it worked.

I can confirm. This seemed to work for me. I tried everything else that was listed, but in the end, disabling adblock was what worked.

For what it’s worth, I have an Eero and I had to disable the adblock in the app.

It’s kind of insane how AGS hasn’t figured out a solution to this yet. I’ve been playing for 3 weeks and all of a sudden this happens yesterday. Very annoying.

I have an Eero Secure as well… was working fine until last night and all of a sudden, after 172 hours of gameplay, I got this error message. I did what you did and it worked, but I didn’t want to completely disable my adblock, so instead I went into the Block & allow sites and under the “Allowed” tab, I added “a2z.com”. This fixed it for me.
