its only because Everyone wants to get in the Game
time to wait
same issue here pal. i think you will have to just wait a while. i have a feeling its too many people at once so some of us are unlucky enough to not be able to login just yet.
Same issue here
It’s not the fault of the people who want to play the game. It’s Amazon’s fault. The trillion-dollar company is simply too stingy to buy or rent servers that can accommodate most of the people who want to play the game.
One server has a capacity of 2000 players. At least in Germany there are 4000 to 10000 people in the queue most of the time. Per server! This means that only a third or even a sixth of all people who want to play the game can do so. What is this?
A trillion dollar company! It’s ridiculous. They have literally condemned their own game to death within the first few hours because a lot of people are already annoyed and don’t want to play it anymore. And for what? To not risk a penny if they had bigger servers that weren’t at full capacity.
yeah they just had to restrict how many character can be created on a server for the first week like only 6k per server , there is already 30k character on some server that is not normal…this week end is gonna be fun guys…
Not sure why people bring up that Amazon is a “trillion-dollar” company therefore should know better?
Their plans have always been set at 2k players per server, raising this to 4000 will hardly help and still have queues. This is launch day struggles which will even out over the next week or so.
Adding more servers? Sure… they have done already - they cannot add too many as once the hype dies down a little, there will be servers with a lack of players, which means server merges will have to happen.
Understandable that people are mad they cannot play the game easily (without waiting hours) as I currently am waiting too at the moment, but people have to be patient and give it a few days. People making “petitions” and creating bad reviews for the game without playing it is just ridiculous. Don’t like the idea of waiting and spent under 2 hours? Just request a refund.
getting kicked out of the queue, too many request and sometime other internal server errors
No chance getting into the game.
Same here right now. Waited 3 hours to join server, I was 200 in queue and an exception appeared… is that a joke, amazon?
Yeah… I mean. There are a lot of players and all… but it seems like there is smth wrong with it. I don’t really know what’s happening or what’s the issue but it sucks as fuck right now, 3 attempts to connect here and 2 hours wasted. I hope they’ll fix it soon.
To all ppl posting here. Check out this post. This guy has some info about how to fix the issue. Dunno if this works but it’s worth to chek it out : I been kicked about 5 times today from queue!
Stimmt !!

Well, they are in the Cloud industry providing infrastructure for thousands of companies. Service scalability shouldn’t be a problem for them.
Again, this has nothing to do with it - read all of my reply to see why.
It’s not to do with scalability, they have a max player limit and a certain amount of servers. They shouldn’t add too many servers as once the hype calms down, there will be stale servers. Stale servers will then have to be merged which would cause more issues (state of each game etc).
Increasing the max player limit wouldn’t have much effect (even increasing 100% would still have queues) so that’s not the answer either.
It’s the same as any other “big” MMO when it’s released, it will calm down and get better over the short-term. If it’s a really big deal to you and annoys anyone that much, either request a refund or wait for a few days.
This is insane … you wait for 3 hours for a GAME queue to end and then you get booted for too many requests which is what their own client is developed to send.
It’s day 3 and it got worse ruining all the fun you might want to have
Can just agree its a joke. Time to fix ASAP… i work and dont have that much time to play as alot more ppl… I have heard that USA dosnt have this problem ( if its true )so why dose EU have ??
If the queue system actually worked people would not get this frustrated because then you can plan ahead.
The thing is, when you get that message, just press ok do not do anything else and suddenly you are back in the que at the same spot you where when you got the message. Dont press ESC or dont press play button, it takes around 30 secs to get back into que
Hello all,
Please make sure to check the following: Login Error - TooManyRequestsException
Thank you so much for your patience during this launch time.
I didn’t mean that they should simply raise the number of players to 4000 or even more per server.
They could’ve just implemented something like layering. Whenever there are more than 2000 people, a new layer would open and if that is full with 2000 people, too, another one would open and so on.
People would still be playing in a world that doesn’t feel too overrun (because they basically play with a maximum of 2000 people at the same time, like they do now) and they would still be able to play on the same server as their friends, without having to queue for more than 4 hours a day.
Once the first hype is over there would just not be as many layers, but the community of the server would still be the same, which in my opinion would be another advantage.
They wouldn’t need to merge servers with different communities as early as they will have to do with the actual system. You would build a community on the servers where people know each other, even when they are not in the same layer all the time. This would lead to a way better and stronger bonded community than the one you will have when you merge to different servers with their own communities.
Why wouldn’t you want that?
I mean queues of 2 to 4 hours make the difference for people to not be able to play the game at all, because they come home from work late and don’t have 2 to 4 hours to wait and still have time left to even play the game then.
So you basically give up a huge part of the player base.
I thought Amazon Game Studios wants to be a big player in the industry soon. If you lose half of the people that are interested to play your first big game you might lose them forever and for all of your upcoming games. Why would I buy another online multiplayer game from AGS when I already know that I’m not be able to play it whenever I want to?
This is my last post here, because I think this is way too offtopic. Just wanted to share my thoughts about that whole queue problem and how to fix it without getting people become too upset.
