When I’m moving around the world, or after performing a teleport and after moving myself quickly with dash skills my client starts to stutter a lot and the input latency resets to zero milliseconds and keeps at zero for a while. While it’s zero, the client is totally laggy and keeps stuttering, desyncs are very common and sometimes my character slides to different positions, after a period of time(5 to 10 seconds), the client starts to work fine again, the Input latency returns to regular values around between 35~40 ms.

32gb RAM
RTX 3080
SDD M.2 Samsung EVO 970
Windows 10
Looks like the game is loading something in the background and starts to stutter a lot.
I’ve already tried to repair the game and also have reinstalled it, but nothing seems to fix it.
80% of the pain playing as a melee in this game is due to desync, AGS definitely doesn’t understand how to properly implement a scalable PVP multiplayer game.
I hope it gets better with cross-servers.

So I’m experiencing double ping after this last big update. I travel a lot and when I’m on the road I login into the game on my laptop. Get way better ping when I’m at hotels now then home. I play on east coast server and live in Dallas-fort Worth, tx area. Used to get 60-70 latency ping. Now I get 130-140 latency ping. Me and my brother both experience the same thing. Live 35 miles apart we both get terrible ping now. Game is completely unplayable for us since we only play pvp. I can play any other game and my ping is excellent. Same with my brother. We just went back to playing battlefield and battle royale games. We miss new world though.
Iv not been able to play since sandstone, the developers don’t maintain the game’s engine properly or not at all they tell you to submit at ticket but when they encounter something that is
out of their knowledge they don’t help, they don’t employ anyone with the right skill sets to trouble shoot their own engine.
With the latest update, It’s clear this issue is related to the notification system.
Every time we get an Input Latency 0, we also get all the Leaderboards notification, the client stutters, character move slowly. It happens constantly when moving around the map using the shrines, but it also happens in specific areas, for example, close to the place where Ivan can be found.
OPR is also lagging a lot, stuttering a lot and it’s is always 3 stutters in a row, then it stops for while… accordingly to team mates, it happens to everyone at the same time, for sure this is something related to the server…
This notification system is sharing unnecessary information, disable it please.

I understand the latency issue make the game almost unplayable for melee character and other class too. Now, if the troubleshooting is not enough to fix it, we need to escalate the issue with customer service, create a ticket, send them all the data you have post here and refer this post (video, explanations,…)
