Anyone else feel like goalposts seem to be constantly being moved to artificially make it so there is ‘something to grind/strive for’? Things like making weapon perks more powerful on weapons than on armor for example? Cant imagine the amount of money/mats that’s been wasted/spent on armour pieces which will now be inferior when compared to sets which have the weapon perk on the weapon. I love New World and im a casual player and so its not like ive invested hundreds of thousands into my gear but even im finding this frustrating this early on in the game…who knows they might change it again in a couple of months and there will be something else to aim for. Spending money to improve your gear with perks and stats in accordance with what the tooltip would have you believe, feels a bit more like how the Luck system currently works…
