I agree, that’s exactly that, i can progress the game by chopping tree if i want.
I’ve hit lvl60 by gathering hemp and it was super nice. I’ve hit many lvl with the xp from crafting things.
And now they change the rules and want to force me to do thing i don’t like. Well i will not do these things.
Would also need to be retroactive so all progress is not suddenly wasted, but honestly i don’t even believe thing will go that way so yeah whatever…

Exactly, freedom to level up however we want is what’s so intriguing about this game and we crafters have spent 100’s of hours crafting and this enables us to participate in the end game without grinding watermark or expertise. With this update, you are just forcing us to grind watermark or “expertise” which is in the complete opposite direction of how we played the game till now.

AGS asks for the comments to be constructive/critical, but it is hypocritical because at the same time it is destructive with its own game!
The guy is full of shit and his whole video is invalid.
He starts his fact less rant off by saying 'UNLIKE every other MMO in the WORLD, New World was the where you could reach max level not questing or fighting a signal enemy"
Which is just total made up bullshit.
People were reaching max level in WoW only mining years ago.

He clearly states that’s how he feels. I think he is saying, that in his opinion he felt like people could do things in new world to level up without fighting enemies. And yet, still feel viable for your group/company, or still have fun. If you are taking what he says literal that’s fine, that’s your opinion on it.
No facts from him or you, just opinions.
Didn’t play WoW, but that sounds terrible, and not fun.
