I feel this system may have been a huge reason to the lack of player retention or desire to play. When someone who plays and has a vested interest financially how well their team works, then the decision being suggested are probably for their benefit ONLY and an unfair advantage to their system and not for the games overall health and other players. I felt this way the moment I saw your design before launch and I still do. Kind of like insider trading.

I am lost, are you suggesting that content creators should have unrestricted access to the dev team?

This seems like a terrible idea, content creators are typically very biased, and yoiu never see them reporting bugs or such. It usually self-promotion, and often even exploiting bugs to create big numbers/hype on stream. Many big streamers are part of big companies that keep these things secret, giving them early access to find these bugs and then thier companies abuse it is not the right approach.
