Don’t forget to check the Known Issues List to see if your issue is currently being worked on by the dev team.
We also have existing workaround for some issues that you can find here:

  • What is your character name in New World: sushileaf
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Eupana
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: Enemy faction members can initiate invasions and just force it to fail during early growth of a server, thus downgrading crafting stands at will.
  • Is this a bug or an exploit: Exploit / poor game design.
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Downgraded our territory crafting benches with no way to stop it.
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Eventually.
  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced: n/a
  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Have a corruption invasion pending. Have 1 single person inlist. Have them fail the invasion instantly.

:warning: ADDITIONALLY:

So this may not be a problem for well established servers with tons and tons of lvl 60s (but maybe it could be). As it stands, as soon as someone hits lvl 50, they are able to sign up for a corruption invasion, regardless of faction.

To me, this is highly exploitable especially early on. And it was exploited on my server at least. A player was able to sign up, and just instantly fail the invasion, putting 2 of our territory’s crafting stations at a loss.

This was unpreventable, as there simply weren’t enough people to sign up, and hell there’s no server wide notice that people are signing up to begin with.

The major flaw here is the fact that it is at all possible to sign up to an invasion on an enemy territory. Logically, why would the enemy sign up to defend your territory? It makes no sense.

Example: Purple owns Monarch’s Bluff. MB get’s triggered into invasion mode. Solo guy from Yellow is lvl 50+ and thinks ‘I’ll just sign up, and fail it so MB crafting stations can break.’ GG. And with that, in merely minutes a single person costs an opposing company quite a few resources and a lot of time.

It’s ridiculous. Company leadership should be the only ones able to initiate invasions. They should be able to monitor the applicants like in a war, and decide if there is enough of a crew to actively fight the invasion and ONLY then be able to launch the invasion event.

bump.

I mean, I’m either gonna bump or repost it sooner or later. This needs to be looked at, or at least explained to me how its working as intended.
