Could we use more toggle?

Toggle is something that can be seen as a passive state, as such for running.
But it cpuld also be an active choice, such as with flamethrower.

It is no secret that I advocate highly for a skill like Void Blade becomes a toggle ability to avoid the clunkiness.
It already got downside losing range, mana regeneration from RMB, and some healing.
(It could use some grit)
A sidnote could be to allow you to use some of the decay trees passive removing the range requirement and put them lower in the tree to make it a choice.

But that above is “easily” solved, just copy the state of flamethrower, and make it so you toggle. Yeah it got no mana upkeep, but again, melee doesn’t gpt mana upkeep.

The next thing I want to see toggle is Greatsword stance. I know reference from other games might not be well liled, but I looking at Hirez studios Smite, they got at least three gods (champion, heroes etc) where you change stance.

No idea which key you would bind it to.
But I think it wpuld remove some of the clunk from Greatsword, and still keep the strategic choice. For balance purpose it should have 1-5 seconds cooldown, whatever seems reasonable.
So could you just sit in one stand then?
Yes.

This of course require that all ability gets a benefits from each of the two stances, to make it more of a choice.
The twp passove perks allowing heavy attack or block to chance stance, should be removed a bit lower into the tree, and instead either negate, or lessen the negative effect for the stances.

So know you are not suddenly force into a stance using an ability, or have to hold block for 2 seconds to get into a stance.
You press a bottom and then you enter the stance and keep staying in it, until you cancel/change.

Downside? Well you commit to the stand for x amount of second, so no quick change in the middle of an offensive.

It will destroy the skill ceilling a bit, and that is of course something one might have to bear in mind.
So this is by no mean a perfect idea, but my personal experience is that such feature would improve the combat flow, and still keep it tactical.
