They are trying to quickly fix their mistakes. Stop making these dumb posts about how Amazon hates Europe. Amazon probably does hate Europe, these tears wont change that.

Bruh. Listen. You want to argue for the sake of argueing. If you aint affected, thats great. Good for you. But over here, in the big EU… we are losing players every single day… every single day… and alot of them!
People are getting fed up with bugs, exploits, stealthnerfs, you name it. No reason to add on top of that, by forceing eu players to watch while these fixes goes on.
They had 8 hours. 8 Hours, while most of europe was asleep. To get this done. But they chose to wait it out, to make it less hard on the US players. Which i can understand, but thats not what im argueing either.
Im saying that, they could have simply applied the patch to EU while we where sleeping. Then waited a few hours, and done it to US to not hit your guys aswell.
I do realise that they have a workingschedule aswell, sure. But i also do realise that NW is probably the most problematic game of centuries. Never have i paid 40€ to be part of an alpha-test.
I have reasons to be frustrated. The development team is clearly pissing in their pants to keep themself warm. We are past the “refund” window, and in general you could argue that they are trying to break their own game, to simply make the playerbase piss off, so they can shut down servers, take the profits, and move on.
because thats how buisness works.
Nevertheless im going to argue that they are trying to fix their broken game, but it concerns me that we are hearing nothing about the weekly patch, that they are going on vacation, while the game is still a huge mess. It botheres me to an extend where i see my friends, my company mates, my server… leaving, dying, becoming less of an MMO.
Now i raised my voice. Im asking them to consider STOPPING to hit the EU with maintanence in the playable hours we have. Somehow that triggeres you. I dont know why. But you feel obligated to argue for no other reason than argueing. Its a waste of time. Im not here to talk to you. Im here to let the developers know that its a thing. That alot of players on the EU side is getting pissed about this. And that there is little to no willingness to let even the smallest things slide anymore. People are getting fed up with this bullshit.
And now. Now we gotta look at maintanence. Once again.
And it probably wont be the last one either this week. If we are lucky we might accidentally be hit by yet another “hotfix” later today, because they added or “fixed” something that broke even more in the game.
Its about time we all start realising what is going on here… and that is, we all got jebaited to pay and play an alphatest…

I just don’t understand why they don’t stagger the downtime for each of the regions. We know for a fact they have the tech to do that because they staggered the release times for each of the regions when the game was launched.

Well a lot of EU players need to grow the hell up then. It’s a game. Not playing for a few hours a week regularly isn’t a bad thing. If anything, all the whining about it shows is that the same EU players need to get lives beyond one game. Like, seriously.
Sincerely, an EU player who really couldn’t care less when downtime is.
Not that AGS has much of choice here, all these downtimes since POS 1.1 update have been emergency server fixes. Servers time traveling, crashing, lagging to standstil.
All those things were and are time sensitive and as it seems AGS has somehow screwed server backups or system was originally already just a pityfull joke, they have to do these emergency downtimes within certain time window or whole server affected would total write over.

Didnt think so. If you launch a tripple A gametitle, and call it the “wow killer” and the “best mmo of ages” and pay youtubers to lick your ass, to get a playerbase of nearly a million players, you are obligated to make shit work.
But oh wait. I forgot. You would probably be that guy on the frontline in world war 2, who would get up from the trenches and be like “right, aint noone got time for this” and go home to grab a cup of coffee and then return to the battlefield a day later, only to see your mates shot down… Right?

You literally contradicted yourself. First you say there’s a meltdown on Twitter because it’s in US primetime, then in the very next sentence, say they’re not bothered. Which is it?
When the downtime is really doesn’t matter. Hell, I don’t care if it’s 8pm-11pm in EU time. Because, and here’s the kicker;
It’s a god damn game. There are more important things in the world to campaign for
