CPU and GPU spike IN THE MENU

I brought this up during beta, and so did many others.

It’s not just our GPUs that are spiking up in temperatures, its our CPUs as well. This does not happen in any other game I play (FFXIV, WOW, SWTOR, GW2, etc.) Not a single one of them.

My CPU: Intel Core i7 8700 @ 3.20GHz
My GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070

Normal games run my CPU and GPU around 35-50 degrees Celsius.

Both my CPU and GPU are spiking up to 75-80 degrees Celsius… AND THIS IS JUST IN THE MAIN MENUS. I haven’t been able to get into the game yet where I’m sure this will make things worse.

What am I supposed to do here?

its actually NOT as bad in game for whatever reason. i was generally hovering around 55c-60c on CPU and GPU was roughly the same . i was in game for a few hours till ui bug forced relog.

It WAS this bad in game when I was in beta test, as it was with many other people. Complaints of CPUs spiking were common back in July.

The menus shouldn’t be spiking my system.

I have the same GPU. My CPU temps were over 90 Cel. I had all the settings turned down, capped frames at 60, fans turned on max. This is definitely not normal for my set up. Hoping there is a fix because this will burn out my system.
