This bug has been occurring for weeks but it’s been tricky getting a screenshot. Basically, intermittently, when you move your mouse over to the CRAFT button while in a crafting screen, a weapon ability tool-tip will appear under the mouse, as well as the Crafting tool-tip, as shown below.
Moving the mouse off the CRAFT button makes the weapon tool-tip disappear and it doesn’t come back. At least until you’re crafting something else and intermittently it appears.
If you happen to click on the weapon ability tool-tip, as can happen accidentally when you’re clicking quickly in crafting, it will open the Weapon screen.
I don’t know if it’s coincidental, but I seem to get this the most when I use the right-hand side of the stone-working station in Windsward. I happen to craft there entirely, so not sure if it happens at other settlements.
For added information, it appears to be an ability from the currently equipped weapon.
