Crafting and Elite Zone changes are unfair on newer/casual players

Hardcore players got their GS to 600, and farmed trade skills to 200 in EZ mode and it will be much harder for newer/casual players to get the same results. What was AGS thinking doing this?

Elite zones are much harder now and drop lesser items. A new/casual player will have to work many times as hard as early bird nerds in order to get to their level. Creating an unequal footing.

I have my Weaponsmithing 199, and I can’t imagine the horrors new players will go through to get it to same level, which I leveled much easier than it is possible now. Even back then it was wild grindfest. Who the heck makes these decisions?

It’s to avoid levelling crafting 12000 iron spears, its a bit more expensive to craft higher tiers but its not more challenging you can level as fast as before.

If the internet is true, all those sweaty try hards that no-lifed it to 60 are quitting because they ran out of content and because they poured 600 hours into a game they hate. So we need not worry about the advantages they had.

With T5 reagents drop in miniscule amounts, good luck leveling anything on low pop servers, which is majority of servers now.

PvP update is here, they’ll be griefing lower levels with their top gears now  GJ Amazon.

Ultimately responsible is the guy who made one game prior, Crucible. Never heard of it? There is a reason for that.

Here is an interview that did not age that well.

There’s no griefing in an opt-in system, silly.

So you advise newly disadvantaged players to not do any PvP in order to avoid potential griefing? Amazing

Nope. Im not advising anything. Flag, don’t flag, it’s up to them. But if they flag and die, they didn’t get griefed. Everyone gets to decide for themselves what’s more important; potentially gathering more mats or gathering in peace.

lets be honest, do you even want to grind all that shit or can we just add a mount to stroke, ride or whatever role-play comes in your mind and we are fine? I mean?

Amazon is taking a much more cautious approach with New World, which finally launches on September 28 after multiple delays

That is golden, a “more cautious approach” shit that had me rolling

i dont see any problems.
Players can choose 1 special trade.
And if a player wants to have all crafts then thats a decision.

1 moment you want the game to be super easy…
another moment you cry that its to hard.

Its a MMO… that means u need to grind…grind…grind…grind…grind…grind…
Get the picture?

I no lifed my watermark and now do have nothing to do, and will probably go kill ppl trying to gather. Blocking off priest loop, banning people for pools and making myrk 2 hard to grind with a 5man grp or loot laz/gen are hard to make keys or you can pay to get into, means we now all have nothing to do if we dont want to craft

I think this is one of those interviews that people like to be deleted from the internet. This section is also gold:

“He adds that Lost Ark and the new Glowmade deal show that Amazon is no longer reliant on only internally made products. The aim is to create big tentpole titles in-house, but in between those, release selected titles from indie studios that fit with Amazon’s strategy.”

So New World carrying the small indie game Lost Ark. I think that will not age well either.

there is nothing to do?
I played almost 800 hours and i still have the feeling i need to do so much more…

anyway… did you consider a nintendo WII ?
Its great

actually they increased the grind even with t5 items by about 20%

ie, before you if you had to craft 450 t5s for 150-200 now you will have to craft 550.

they kinda snuck this in with the other change

War and outpost are even more laggy than b4 without crafting you can feel all you want cause there is nothing
