Crafting and Profession Outfits (Wardrobe)

So this as many have had concern with is a major issues. We have many ways to resolve this issue with using the wardrobes in your houses that can be made to give furniture crafting another benefit besides just looks. The picture show doesn’t even have half of the items in game for crafting. Simple upgrade as such would be a great QoL upgrade for the game that you shouldn’t have to buy through the cash shop. Again we have Wardrobes why can’t we utilize this function instead of having to keep track of all these excessive items?

All the different outfits are getting a bit out of hand. Some sort of chest, mannequin. closet or wardrobe associated with house ownership would be a great way to handle this. Not to mention could add to housing score and could look cool

I’ve suggested this in the past. We have houses, we can furnish those houses, we can actually craft the furnishings (including wardrobes), so why can’t we can’t we just use them? In fact, I would love to see furnishing and housing become something more that just a teleport/chest/trophy spot. Add wardrobes for gear sets, armour and weapon racks to hold and display gear, add coal bins for charcoal, a wood bushel, and ore bin, a fibre basket, a cold storage for food, an alchemy desk for arcana, the list can go on and on. Hell, AGS, I’ll even offer to write the recipes for you (instead of just X wood, Y metal, etc.) So yes, a wardrobe for outfits seems a pretty simple and logical option, and I totally agree,

Cheers

This is becoming a very real issue. I could see in a game needing four or maybe five different sets of gear but seventeen sets for the individual professions is a bit much. Some of those are probably not in-game yet.

My choice would be:

  • Gathering set (covers all gathering, lumber, harvesting, mining, fishing, skinning)
  • Refining set (covers all refining professions)
  • Crafting set (covers all crafting professions)

This would eliminate the issue with professions like Arcana that truly needs both a bonus to create additional items along with the +2 to crafted item quality. Put both of those on the sets and everything is equalized for bonus and perks, no profession is missing any bonus.

Therefore you need the following sets: crafting, gathering, refining, pvp and pve, maybe an additional situational set here and there.

Just my thoughts.

Simpliest solution to that would be to butcher all specific crafting perks and swap them with one general crafting perk that would affect every possible crafting aspect. Same goes for gathering. Why do we need perk specific for mining, skinning, harvesting, tree cutting etc? We just need one perk all of that in single gatherers outfit, and single perk for manufacturer outfit…

I made a suggestion on the forums during 1 of the alpha tests to possibly add a closet as an upgrade to the houses for wardrobes. The Devs said they loved the idea but, it never went anywhere.

It does seem like an unintended punishment. Some might call it the burden of being a crafter and gatherer, but it would be nice to hear something from the NW team if this was planned.

Yes, it’s so painful to find needed crafting gear, we need some kind of wardrobe to manage our outfits.

This is only going to get WAY worse with mutated expeditions and armor specifically for fighting in those dungeons. Imagine mutating it to give the mobs more fire dmg…so you put fire dmg resist on your armor. Then you do that for other damage types…oof…its a hot mess.

Yup, going to need about 23+ sets of different armor now.

not to mention with the 500 unique item limit you could have 10-15% of that number taken up just in gear.
