Crafting armor items with ' Mining Luck' Trait

Could someone confirm that I am not going crazy. I have both an Orichalcum miner’s charm and a Starmetal Miner’s Charm… but I can’t use them to create luck boots for Mining. I see the option for Skinning and Logging, but nothing else.

Is it impossible to craft your own boots (or any piece of armor outside the pickaxe itself) with a Mining Luck % boost?
