Crafting Changes Feedback - PvE Hard to Craft

With the July update came some changes to crafting and the chance that each perk will roll. Many unwanted perks had their chance to roll reduced while others like resilient had their chance to roll out right at the top.

Looking at the PTR I was initially pretty excited as refreshing also had a high roll chance. This meant if you forced a weapon perk you had a good chance of crafting a usable PvP item if resilient rolled or PvE is refreshing rolled.

I was disappointed to see that when the patch went live that refreshing had it’s roll chance reduced. What this meant is that if you force a weapon perk you are working against a 15% chance that resilient will roll with all other PvE relevant perks all the way down at 4%. For the head slot it’s even worse. With 15% for both resilient and critical retribution your now fighting against a 30%+ that the item will roll with a useless perk for PvE. Worse yet, if you try to force a ward perk you’re very likely to roll resilient as the 2nd perk making the item you craft completely worthless for both PvP and PvE.

I think the crafting change was in the right direction but I think the current iteration makes it very frustrating to craft PvE gear.

I’d like to see something like resilient have it’s chance reduced a bit and slot specific perks like empowering armor breaker reduced even more. Indestructible should also be reduced more. Then spread the remainder across the universal perks like vigor, invigorated, freedom, the 3 refreshing perks and the 2 aversion perks and shirking fortification.
