I have an idea, similar to how combat / luck trophies are placed and stored in your house, what about if we could store our crafting sets in the crafting station itself?
For example you have 5 pieces of Smelting gear, you open up the smelter and you can slot in your smelting gear so every time you go to a smelter you don’t have to waste time going through your storage sheds to pick out your smelting gear, equipping it (a lot of players forget to do this) and then starting your craft.
Attached a very quick mock up of where this could be displayed in game for example.
EditYou would equip the set once in the crafting station for the buff and this would apply to all of the same crafting stations throughout the different towns, just like housing luck/combat trophies work all around aeturnum once slotted
I like it, but not if you have to move it to new stations all the time. IDK about your server, but all towns are not all t5 on my server – I have to go wherever the stations are. If I have to move my gear and put it in, it doesn’t save any time.
Closets for your houses that could stash the gear and give you buffs anywhere might be an alternative, and we already get global buffs from other things.
Ultimately we ALSO need a gear management system, but it would be a start and could continue to work even once that arrives.
I will edit the post, yes it would be global so you would equip your “smelter set” “stone cutting Set” etc once in the said crafting station and it would give you the boost when going to any of the same crafting station in any town
I’ll vote for ANY improvement, no matter what it is. atm I’m not using any of the crafting/gathering/refining gear at all cause I’m just to lazy to keep searching for all the set pieces and constantly switching between them (and all my other gear)
BUMP!
Maybe an option to craft an armor stand, then put different armors like refining, gathering and crafting on the stand, one set per stand. Then have it displayed as active in the respective station for crafting/refining. and have to gather luck sets shown in the bio section.
