Crafting is DISGUSTING

There are so many Perks in New World, that when u craft an armor part, u just need the luck OF GOD himself to actually get what u need.

Only the LUCKIEST get good stuff… and it’s just not right…it feels bad to rip urself into the game trying to make a TON of asmodeum and crafts, to create GARBAGE items…WHY?!

We need to be able to modify things and have more control over crafting…YES RNG OK BUT… Bruh as it is, it’s just INSANE, it makes no sense!

I have been playing since BETA and i have been an Armorer for a long time… i have never got the Armor part i needed…like ever… only mediocre stuff…

We SHOULD be able to make our armors as we like it to be, and choose between perks so we can have a more custom PVP gameplay…some might want fortify, another one might need Energy, or criticals…or Empower when gets blocked! there are so many perks and yet we cant get our hands on them it’s ridiculus!

Until something changes i can’t craft anything anymore, i have wasted too much time and effort.

Please someone call a Developer here…We need to be heard, everybody is complaining on that issue, we should have a change.<<

no one crafts on the dev team so they dont care about it. if they did it would be fixed and people who like crafting would want to keep playing this game.

everyone on the forum just says to go out and pvp and take a territory for yourself so you can get max gold cap and buy all the materials for unlimited rolls and hopefully get something you want or rmt like most of the big guilds that still play this game did.

why any sane person want to spend hundreds of hours worth of grinding at a chance of getting something you need. just dont salvage it whatever you do, you get like 1% of your money back (1 -4 orichalcum ingot from asmodeum is not fair).

whoever is in charge of the crafting system at AGS really dropped the ball after the iron tools stage at level 8. why would you want to craft any of the named items when they are garbage 30-55 level except for the achievement of doing so

its not even consistent.

if it was all BOE then at least some of the legendary mats might have some value to it.

I gave up from crafting. Even being grandmaster, all trophies, foods and gears.
Simply can’t afford this. Too much effort for almost nothing in exchange. Crafting is a gambling game apart from NW atm. The only interrested in stay that system, as it is, are the ones whose already riches or dominant guilds.

Its sad, we spent all that time, money and effort to get up to 200 and then we gamble. It doesnt make sense. We should have at least 80-90% control over what we craft. It’s not like I’m new to being a level 200 armorer too, i got to 200 in November, first thing I levelled up, one of the first in the world. Im only posting it up because I feel like if its not fixed soon it never will be and any crafter that comes to this game will just quit when they see that its just a complete gamble

Frustration in a game is positive when it asks us to improve, to progress.
However, it becomes toxic when the game simply has NOTHING ELSE to offer us.
This is the case for many (too many) aspects of this game…

in my opinion crafting is like winning a lottery in this game
if you get something good you might be rich or you can decide to keep the good stuff for yourself that is, if you can keep your greed for money in check…
and i like it being so random. if everyone could get the good stuff… it would be boring…
no1 has patiance these days every1 has to be best… why though ?
im playing this game to have fun not to be best

Someone talk to your state representative and explain the lottery system isn’t fair. That you’ve played for years and never won. That you deserve a fair chance and should be a millionaire by now. Let us know how that works out for ya.

Then give us 600-600 crafting or something.

Reroll one perk using umbral.

Force two perks.

Asmodeum used to be 2k a pop. I remember one piece of jewelry was 26k just in asmo.

Two perk ammys were being sold for 100k daily and 3 perk leggos were 3x gold cap.

Did it become cancerous when asmo mats became cheaper? No. The game became better.

You may as well get rid of trade skills and add, “gheed,” to the game. That’s what it is.

If you really think getting BiS would be too easy and ruin the game then make dungeon replicas worth a shit.

My bad, TL;DR rant below

They are Bind on Pick Up crafts. Have certain sets have a default perk and stat and we can pick our perk for 2 perks. Then we gamble on a 600 gear with a BiS perk on it. Can’t flood the market with BiS if it’s bind on pick-up.

Dryad Weapons could have keenly empowered because it’s a trend.

Guardian Weapons could have something like lifesteal because you know… Dead things.

Tempest has a Dex vibe to it so it could have Keen.

Guardian Armor could have Resilient.

Dryad Armor can have Freedom.

Tempest Armor can have Shirking Fortitude.

Just have Armor of the mage, of the soldier, of the ranger sets on all replicas.

Have every equip load covered by each dungeon.

As the game progresses you have more dungeons, more gear with more perks on replicas.

Crafting progression.

It also gives use to the useless mass of items we get from dungeons for them.

People who don’t craft? They’ll sell them. People who do craft will craft more often and when they get their set, they can continue to gamble on Bind on Equip gear but it doesn’t flood servers with BiS. It just rewards a crafter for getting to end game crafting.

Yep. Its fucking bullshit. Making a con Heavy Chest? - $4k minimum in guardsman $8k in asmo another $3k for runic/phoenix then you want leaching path of destiny ? $5k Grav Well - $7k

Minimum of around $20k to craft a heavy chest and i get Grav Well Beast ward… nice.

Honestly craft mods are an issue. I think they should tier azoth potions and have them be the main component to crafting.

You get very high chance of perk roll, and pick a perk with a tier 5 azoth bottle.

And dim it down, match the tier of weapon with the bottle.

Tier 4 is high chance for 1, pick 1 perk.

Tier 3, is medium chance, pick 1 perk.

Tier 2 is pick 1 perk. Right? Greens have 1 perk?

Tier 1 you can salvage it for azoth.

90% of them aren’t even used and go for pennies.

gathering mats ever cross your mind? I mean…spend a day collecting mats and having someone craft an item for you? It’s practically free!
