The model and overall ideal was to forge your own path.

People have 100’s of thousands of umbral and all the dungeon drops for a long time now and yet they still play. Rich people that bought orbs finished mutations the first few days and are still playing. Imagine that. You live under an old school archaic design method that people were tired of 15 years ago.

At the same time would you disagree with my point that people that own ever fall and windward are just getting too much money?

I mean the way I see it. The value of gold in-game is next to nothing if this keeps up.

BIS items should be expensive but not worth in millions since it breaks the economic model. Now I get that snowflakes need to grind and make the money. Nothing against that. But now we are in a situation where people who have bad skills who zerg like idiots are winning wars purely on the strength of bis gears. Since they either used bots, dupes or owned everfall and windward to make a shit load of money without any real work.

I trade and make my money. I have over 4 mill so I know where you are coming from. If your smart abt it you can make shit load in money.

But the game’s design should divide the money into all regions and not just 2 (windward and everfall). Causing the economic imbalance. Companies that own other regions should also make money.

And shell companies should not exist. Bcz of the tax dupe that amazon itself created. WW and EF make 10 million. Whereas other regions struggle to reach 200k profit. That’s an imbalance in game design. If ww and everfall made 2 mil and others made 500k that would have been fine. Double the income due to being center cities is fine. But 5-10 mill vs 200k at other places is not.

This is causing a big power shift in terms of money in the hands of a few. That is what I’m against.

Also stuff like skinning luck and other gathering luck should not exist on crafted gear. That’s a bad game design. Like whats the point of all the gathering sets then? Makes them worth zero. Its not RNG just bad game design at this point.

They also need to have value since they are rare sets that need to be farmed.

Also, devs are honestly just timegating the game instead of making actual content for the game. Like the devs designed the game till level 30. Then copy pasted the entire code. Just 10xed all the values and made them end game bosses.

I mean hello add some dragons cyclops and other mystical monsters. Why is level 25 mob and level 66 mob the same with just difference in health and size.

Remembers the myrkyard fiasco when they 100xed the health and damage of bosses. Making them one-shot anything.

Devs should be forced to make proper content. PvP and PvE both. Right now all they are doing is time gating stuff again and again just so people keep repeating the same stupid stuff.

Dynasty was great too at release. Gave you a taste of smth new but after a few void explosions its pretty much the same content.

It was the people begging the game switch gears.

You can pvp rich( solely play opr and war) but you will never be pve unless you invest in the content the community ssked for.

Did i personally think ags would invest literally thousands of hours making isabella a primary boss with her own follow up story line? After dynasty? Hell no.

Just disappointed we pushed so far away from pvp i had to play opr for over 6 months. Cause im tired of war and invasions.

The only fun thing about flagging up now is when you can compete over event items.
There isnt enough pvp comtent in itself to sustain a dedicated pvp crowd. There are too many ppl pulling the game apart.

And the kicker? There is a hybrid heavy build that keeps you at 2k phys and elemental or 3k phys if you drop the shards.

Figuring out the build and perks i wsnt on them besides resilient? Worth all the money in the world.

And being able to see consistently 2k damage as a tank using s and s while full con?

I still remembering leading zergs and thorpe running head first at me with the charge scaring the shyt out of me.

Cause remember they didnt buff just the health and damage. They removed your sneak function by making monster ai vision larger.

So you cant even sneak behind enemies like you used to. You can do solo runs but now you are almost guaranteed to die once. Even if you are perfectly time everything somehow the ai can track you around corners without even seeing you.

Bad game design. Not enoughways to solo content anymore.

With respect to crafting, I just need 3 things from them. I’m cool with the rng part of it. But right now it’s generating too much crap.

I just want them to remove skinning, mining, logging, harvesting, durability from crafting perk pool. Everything else stays the same.
U have dedicated mining, logging, and harvesting sets. Let people use that.

Make it such that ancient, lost, beast, angry earth and corrupted ward show up in dropped dungeon gear. So u get pve gear by doing pve stuff.

U get pvp gear from doing pvp stuff. Oprs wars arenas and PVP reward tracks.

If u use dungeon items to craft gear it gets the corresponding ward. So if u craft genesis gear u get angry earth ward gear etc.

that’s all I need from the devs. No other complaints. I am cool with rng but it should not be stupid rng when u get skinning luck and durability legendary items :slight_smile:

This right here is a good idea will increase the chances on getting what you want, maybe add the possibility to make you ítems have two perks and third perk has to be random and people will start to feel good about rolling their gear as a crafter

man id be fine with just 2 perks with no guarantee of a lego.

at least that way i could make sets and try out new builds wtihout rnging an arm or a leg and not depending on other peoples con dumpster gear being put on the market.

even decent enough ward pieces + weapon skills to back fill for dungeons

luck gear for trophy runs that isnt just voidbent

not being forced to random roll 2 perks would be a great boon for custom order crafting.

you would still need to random roll or farm for 3 perk legos though

if u are able to fix two perks then its too easy. Everyone will have bis gear in 24hrs. Thats not the right solution.

@Porchse is saying the same thing. And he is right about that to an extent. If the grind is too easy makes the game pointless.

U still need to craft 1 piece 300 times for bis items. Thats a must otherwise no point to the game. But u should not need 10000 crafts for 1 bis that’s a broken system.

We want a way to craft BIS gear for ourselves not to sell for profit. Could easily implement a system where we have to work for the ability to craft the gear we want. Other people that dont want to craft can buy the over priced stuff that someone else has wasted their time rolling for.

ESO does this well, you put time into crafting and you can craft the sets you want with no RNG, you can even sell those sets if you want because they have made a system that is rewarding.

Can even get the sets from Dungeons and PvP so it caters to all players, crafters, Pvp and PvE and the BIS sets still have value.

Even bad legendaries sell for 20 to 30k per piece depending on perks.

The absolure worse net you 5 or 10k but you arent counting pennies here.

So guarantee 1 perk and rest are rng?

Crafting is one of the hurdles to get good pvp gear. So i understans your frustration cause the only good content has a steep enftry cost.

But i think the pay off is worth it.

Youve never had a good rng moment playing new world? None? Zero?
Nothing? No event drops? No funny encounters?

not the guy but you have a way better chance of getting something useful farming m10 gens for bis. and not just the named items.

fact that it has resil in its perk pools makes it a far better chance for good legos.

iv gotten 1 bis and 1 retroactive bis so far and it was crafted by some one else for me.

lego heavy pants with str, insatiable grav well, shirking fort and resil.

and a great axe with refreshing move, thwarting strikes and mortal power which is now going to be mortal empower from what i understand.

i gave that great axe to a friend for free basically.

the dopamine rush from those two was NOT worth the farming and cool downs required to roll them. and defo not worth the several hundreds of dumpster gear iv also generated with little to no value.

Don’t know what server you are on but bad legendaries on my server are selling for as low as 100 gold sometimes so it’s really not worth the hassle. I would rather be able craft bind on pick up and choose perk pools for example I can choose to have a random spear perk, then a random defensive perk like resilient and freedom etc then 3rd perk can be random so at least you have some chance of getting something useful.

PvP is very competitive in eso and build variety is vast partly because of the class system but also due to the amount of pre made sets in the game that require lots of time to be able to craft or the ability to craft your own good sets with a bit of time and effort. You can build good competitive sets for a reasonable or you can grind for them through pvp or pve

Throughout my time playing in the beta and since launch and playing almost everyday since launch I haven’t gotten a single piece of bis gear from crafting, pvp or random world or chest drops. Only stuff I have is named drops from expeditions which aren’t hard to get
