I do agree that lower lvl stuff you make to lvl is mostly useless except for tools and bags but crafting is not useless by any means. I made my first 600 GS Voidbent Breastplate legendary yesterday and ppl were willing give their firstborn. Its all about investing time or money to get to the endgame crafts.
it is a very slim chance and ive only hit them twice out of 4-500 crafts in armorsmithing and never in jewelcrafting or engineering and im currently at 800 weapons in weaponsmithing.
yes but those are recipies you find with set materials and set stats, so they always be legendary, compared to ori set wich can roll different every time
there is a game before 500+ yes and profession before 150 but you wont make a profit except from tools until 150+ and the odds only get better at 200

Here’s an example of the legendary armor - it requires exact materials, and will always roll 600 GS with the stats shown.
Now, do I sell it, or equip it myself

I equipped mine, that swag was too much to give up.
until they sort the fact that heavy armor is the best in the game hands down Im sitting on my voidbent materials.
If you want to get rich, focus in items that do not drop. Rings, amulets, earrings, satchels, some named items, higher motes, gems, tools, crafting gear, rare perks. t5 refined materials. I am still making good profits.
I was able to get up to 584 gs with the buffs and food i had available
and a 585 dropped
in kraft you can also get to level 6 of armor or weapon with the right amount of azhot and materials so if you ask me what is better from the drop of the boss monsters and craft and 1000 times better the enhanced craft

why starmetal tools dont become epic though
i rolled epic wyrdwood fishpole which is tier 4.
starmetal tools are also tier4 and should be able to roll epic if anything above 4

Nobody can answer that for you, you just can’t. Just the way it is. There’s streamers who made hundreds if not thousands of them. Tools cannot roll above blue, same with bags. Even at tier 5.

your sprinting speed is independant of armor type. in pvp why would i wear light or medium if someone can connect for 7-8k or i can just wear heavy and only take 1-2k from the same hit?
Yeah I can’t explain why fishing poles can roll epic and legendary. You are right that it is very odd one of the “gathering” tools can roll but the others can’t. Probably because the fishing pole has so many more potential perks to roll, where tools are limited to a small handful so if it could roll more than 3 perks it would be really easy to make excellent tools with little to no risk.
i see little to none in investing in leveling engineering then tbh
u get 200 engineering and all u can craft is legendary bow or musket which only a handful of people play with
