Create Pre-Registration for Fresh Start Servers

AGS will do itself and the community a huge favor by allowing players to register in advance of the fresh start servers. Perhaps opening up registration in mid-October.

This will give AGS a good idea of the demand in advance and it can create the best server rollout to meet that demand. Trying to avoid the mistakes of the game’s launch that went from a server shortage to a surplus within a month.

Also for the customers, we can plan ahead rather than a free-for-all on Nov. 2nd to grab a spot.

Unlike the game launch, there won’t be many who only play for a few weeks and then drop out. The majority of fresh start server players will be committed to the game and continue to play over time - meaning that AGS can use this for planning purposes.

Not against the idea but this seems quite naive in thinking.

This might require a lot of backend work which i don’t think you can really justify financially, though it would depend on the backend.

Its good idea.

Maybe another solution is onlining the server early and letting people create toons but not connect to the world itself.

You’ll have some stay with the fresh start servers…no doubt.

Most wont.

Still the same grindy game that a lot of players stopped playing.
