OK, we need you to prove you are not one of the many trolls currently roaming the forums. Please put right here so we all can see exactly the steps to take to duplicate the issue. If you really are concerned, this is the only way you will be noticed. Go ahead, we’ll wait.
I would believe that, however for the time being there’s also no proof that what they’re claiming/saying isn’t not true. The game has had enough issues these past 2 weeks for me to not really be skeptical anymore of anything, I’d agree with you if there wasn’t a mass amount of dupes recently, so for the time being, anytime a thread like this one pops up, I’m most likely going to believe it. There was actual dupes where they stated this same thing that they were waiting on a CM and their dupe turned out to be true

You can simply make a video start with X gold and then do your thing and show us the result only. But I doubt it, I tried the method from the other thread and it wasn’t working so I believe that this one is a troll-thread aswell. No offense its a good one.

we should all agree that, when a player make a report without reproduction steps showing the Game client version in a video, we as players should all mark as inappropriate.
there will be at least 1200 players now, Guild Leaders, people with a lot resources who were caught in the last wave and they will write any kind of non-sense, without offering any proof.
and we all can agree, as soon it becomes “public”, AGS will make the system unavailable which is the best “band-aid” since it would at least stop people abusing whatever it is they are abusing.
There are most likely already people abusing it, if they did and you post it, they’ll simply get punished. You might as well post the steps, it’s how the other dupes got fixed/resolved so fast
You should only public the results, the before and after. Idk how people will abuse that. Same here if it would have worked where I tested it i would have opened a ticket and destroy the duped stuff. But of course we are on the internet so no need to believe me.
no, you offer no World or Character in your description - you joined 5 hours ago, you also offer no proof or reproduction steps - for all we know, you can be just one of the idiots who were banned and now you make some troll “claim” to perhaps try to seek attention of a CM / Developer to perhaps cry a bit more…
it’s simple, put down the video here with reproduction steps, then it becomes a valid issue and AGS will likely close that system until it’s “patched”… thou IMO, you have nothing, and it’s the combination of a freshly created account that cannot follow a simple reporting template (in your first report) to provide character name or world name.

i just made this acc to report, else show me another way how to report stuff. i want to hand in the proof to the responsible persons directly, this is what this forum is for right?
besides, when you are banned you are no longer able to post. get your infos before you start making weird accusations. everyone in here just waiting for the report so they can go ahead and reproduce themselves. sad. you are the one faking to be legit yet lurking around here waiting for an instruction to dupe.
incorrect - you’ve spent many hours and 40 bucks is bum cash anyways, so you were banned in your main account and you acquired another account so you can create a new forum user under a different email address to create a thread claiming an issue that was perhaps fixed not to be - without offering any reasonable steps, which is something the template requires you to do.
in fact your report is so bad, but so bad, that you didn’t even disclose World / Player for validation, and I don’t think someone who never used the forum would come here and not follow the template, even for the most basic attributes… - so you were around before but you are on a new account, and as I asked before, people should just mark these kind of threads as Spam.
also, we know you nerds got all banned on the last dupe exploit, which could imply that they finally added some decent logging / tracing for this very issue - which affects many aspects… and likely now if people do use your report to abuse, they will also be flagged and banned, just like you were a couple days ago… (at least you’d have more nerds to cry with you)
FYI How to Submit a Bug Report - now be a decent chap and follow this template, which is how you are supposed to raise an issue when an issue occurs.

That’s not how it works - the burden of proof is on the person making the statement. If I yell “there’s a dupe exploit” I’ll probably be right, but making posts explicitly saying “yeah, this is causing duplications of items” requires a burden of proof because how the fuck are the devs supposed to fix it and on top of that these baseless accusations is just pissing people off that slam the devs and that’s 100% affecting their morale. Imagine people straight up lying about exploits just to have dozens or hundreds of people @'ing you and smearing you constantly every day. Don’t justify scummy behavior and your mentality is also shitty and is enabling trolls.

That’s what the word believe means, so that is exactly how it works, My post is basically the same response I made to him but for you now. If there wasn’t a plethora of dupes I would be less likely to believe it, but due to the state of the game, yes I am going to ‘believe’ it, key word being believe. I didn’t say there was, but simply that there most likely is. The smearing and being disrespectful to devs is a different topic entirely. I’m simply stating that the game has so many dupes that anything is really believable at this point, if the guy is lying then he deserves punishment, but I’ll still believe like I said in my previous posts when these threads do come up for the time being until dupes stop flooding in (Most of the time similar to the last)

True, if they let ppl dupe for only a few days, many players won’t be able to do it and will fell behind the ones that did.
They should post the dupe methods in a way that everyone can do it, so everybody will be equally frustated.
