Hi. My character name is (or rather, was) Corssa Bendopel, from server Bengodi.
I was temporarily banned for one day. I then appealed, and the appeal was rejected.
I then proceeded to ask for the messages I had been banned for, but was rejected since they couldn’t give me more information about their decision. I then asked if they were keeping my chat logs, and asked for them, as per GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) (following the directions of a post in this same forum, on How to get Unbanned). They told me they couldn’t give me that information and that I would have to request it via their GDPR webpage, which I did.
My unban date disappeared from the client after I did so. I asked on a ticket for my unban date, because I didn’t remember the specified hour, a bug happened to a friend in beta where he couldn’t see unban date, but after that he could log in properly. To that, the answer was
“It’s been more than 24 hours since your account was ban, you should have access by now. Please close the game and try again.”
I have not received any further updates on my account status (I never got told “you will be permanently banned”) or anything of the sort and I still cannot log in. Besides that, while I have gone against the Conduct Policy (I had a heated argument because another company (Black Sails) used an exploit which I reported, though I tried to avoid swear words, didn’t use any slur, or anything of the sort), I was originally banned for 1 day (actually 25 hours or so).
Meanwhile, there’s people on my server who have been banned for telling a female player that women belong in the kitchen and that she should go wash the dishes, who got a 24 hour ban, and have gotten their accounts returned to them at the time their ban period ended.
I would like to receive an explanation on what is going on with my account, and if I will be able to play again, and if not, how did a 1 day ban turn into a permanent ban just because I wanted to know if Amazon was keeping my chat logs. Thank you all for your time.
