Cut Amber in 1-h Sword

1. take a sword with a gem slot
2. Take Cut Amber gem
3. move gem on the sword
4. got an error “not compatible item”

This also happened to me, gutto.o - taparloka.

I can’t socket cut amber in any weapon, the game says it’s invalid

it seems the problem is in weapon additional effect, if it grants the elemental damage, it ruin the ability to place the Cut Amber Gem in slot

Seems to still be an issue, tried this today and can’t slot an amber gem into a 1 handed sword.

It seems to be more than just a sword, having issues slotting an Amber gem into other weapons as well, such as:

When you click on the weapon, the option to attach gem is not available & if you mouse of the greyed out option, it states “No gems available”. – I was able to put other type of gems in, so the issue seems to be with the Amber Gems.

More information on this one, you can not add a gem to the War Hammer, but you can add it do a Desecrated WarHammer. Not sure if it is a naming issue or model thing; I was using the same Amber gem for each test.
