Daily Server Reset

This game would benefit from a daily restart a think. Something that takes less then 5 minutes to reset everything.

  1. Broken nodes. Sometimes you walk to ore or something and cannot gather. Its just broken. Stays like that until server crash or new patch.

  2. Resets bots. Kicks them out. They have to waste time logging them all in and resetting.

  3. I am sure overall performance would be better for most of the day.

Im sure other reasons. But these are some things i notice. Mostly broken nodes. A reset at like local 4am time for region when pop is low.

Again, just a fast on and off. 5 minutes or less. Once people get use to it, it wont bother anyone, and would probably help more than hurt everyone

The idea is basically good.
But problems are that the servers

  • Sometimes have problems with booting
  • Need significantly more than 5 minutes for a reboot
  • Various ingame mechanics are reset after the reboot

And please rename the Topic to restart instead of reset :slight_smile:
