because your feelings on my gameplay don’t matter to me. I can’t be bothered to care about your opinion on my “dungeon skill”
rather I want meters to check and see if perks work correctly, if bleeds are worth putting points into, if fortifies actualy reduce the correct amount of damage etc.
Did you know that freedom on gear states its a 7.4% reduction in stuns but someone tested it and its only 5.1%??? so why would I drop 400k in gold on some freedom/refreshing/weapon perk gear for pvp? Its important to verify things are working correctly because a months worth of gold can go into something thats broken.
Do you remember elemental aversion not stacking correctly? Damage meters/death logs can show this info first hand instead of players buying all the gear and testing things over and over per patch as they tend to break more than they can fix
Would be nice to know how low peoples GS is in pugs too. Knowing they will be dead most of the time would help the rest of the group carry them easier.
currently theres no way to inspect gear without having them link you all the slots. If you farm M10s you can only have like 3 deaths before you drop too low to hit gold anymore.
Every other mmo has damage meters/logs to review and the devs talking about raids and world bosses coming at some point. Damage meters are a must have.
A Combat Log would be the best approach IMO. With a combat log, players can create an add-on that gives you damage meters. So the players who WANT that, can get it.
But its literally imperative we get a combat log for testing purposes.
Prove the Fact please instead of just screaming FACT.
Using a meter to show that you as a Dps, Tank, or healer are taking unnecessary damage for no reason or are not doing enough damage, heals, or generating threat, is not the playing properly being wrong?
Running into a tank that says why do I need Hated on my sword yet always has aggro pulled off of him? Come on bro. If you are a casual and don’t want it, just say so.
Would really like to have meters as well with individual ability damage breakdowns for pvp. It’s very hard to tell when and where abilities are useful.
if this is what you are referring to, it has no correlation. I think you’re stubborn and don’t want a report card on your game performance because you think people will treat you negatively over it.
This would be proven in a Meter by showing his Damage Taken per second. In a meter, it would show if he is taking unnecessary dmg, means he is standing in the wrong spots and getting him self killed.
A meter like I have posted would show his Actions per minute, which would explain if he standing around doing absolutely nothing or if he is actually healing.
A meter like I have posted would tell you how much of his healing is effective. Example ( Putting out 3,000 HPS) Only 40% is effective. This means he is placing his heals in the wrong spots or healing someone who is at 90% health instead of someone who is at 40% health.
A meter like I have posted would tell you “Healing Received” Which would show you that he is healing himself more than healing others. This would tell you he is taking damage more than he should.
That same meter can tell you that the Tank is not generating enough threat which would entail the healer taking dmg from the mobs when he shouldn’t.
That same meter would tell you, who is dealing dmg to the healer… Mobs or Void/fire droppings on the ground.
I think the people against it need to look up recount from wow and see how it works for them to understand, it literally breaks everything down to even food buff timers.
this is a whole different game, im not asking for the 100 breakdown but damage logs/death logs would be a bare minimum
I had a tank tell me flamethrower fire staff with taunt gem is best for aggro against mobs in dungeons. Not only was he very wrong, but I couldn’t use my spear or bleeds on rapier without pulling aggro on boss or mobs. He needs a wakeup call but refused to listen to anyone
I’m happy to say that I have not run into that guy lol… But that would suck for sure.
If you are running Flamethrower with a taunt gem, it would do not dmg to generate threat either way unless you are running Intel.
If you are running Intel and Con build, That would destroy your Threat generation via SnS part of the build.
