How in the fuck is this not a thing? I’ve been disconnected twice today after playing for less than 20 mins. Then, I have to sit in that fucking queue for hours, time my day around the queue so that I don’t get kicked for being afk in case I get in when I’m not watching, play for a bit, then get DCed again.
This has been far from the worst launch in mmo history as some have claimed. But, Amazon’s solutions for not being the worst launch seem to have been brainstormed by a team who haven’t a clue what they are doing. At this point I’d rather deal with a flooded server that crashes often than this bullshit queue nonsense. Again, this may not be the worst mmo launch, but it is the damn most annoying launch. The tech is there. The experience should be there. The decision making is clearly lacking regarding what to do to learn from other’s past mistakes.
