Dear devs: These are some of the things that are pissing off he community, you can easily change them

Dear Devs:

First of all, mistakes aside, thanks for all the effort and hard work that you are making. We want new world to succed and become the best MMORPG ever… this will not be a “easy task”

This feedback can help

  1. Out of touch and shocking Weapon and game Mechanics nerfings whitout getting feedback first:
  • CHANGE THAT “SHOCKING NERFING” ATTITUDE
  • IF YOU REALLY NEED TO NERF, DO IT STEP BY STEP, LITTLE BY LITTLE

Players love their weapons and classes, if you detect underperforming weapons, Instead of “Nerfing” strong or well performing weapons that cause players piss off, try to buff the other weapons better. If you NERF a lot or you do it in a non proggresive manner you will have players quitting. Please, because with some changes the community thinks that you ar not “playing the game” ask a lot (and read feedback) before made the changes. For example, the changes that you are intended to do to Mages are really an insult cause you are testing almost 30 different nerfing to 1 class (15 nerf on each weapon). You can`t do this… its so “out of touch”… the dev who desing that change should change that and try less impacfull changes, and please… do more testing… Also the nerf of the XP needed to level jewlery and cooking is really bad and feels unfair.

  1. HEAR AND INVEST TIME ON READING ALL THE FEEDBACK, TAKE IT SERIOUSLY. BEST EXAMPLE: “NO MAN SKY” game crisis.

  • LISTEN A LOT MORE PLAYERS BEFORE MAKING CHANGES

I know that you know change this and made post for hearing the community, please hear it really to build trust.

For example, If you made the changes that are on PTR to Ice gauntlet and/or Fire Staff will be a clear message that you don´t hear people´s feedback, cause 95% of the players are against them and saying they are almost an insult. Please build trust and hear.

  • MAKE SURVEYS, COULD REALLY HELP.
  1. Open World PVP promise and faction system.

Maybe 50% like open world pvp, maybe 50% dont like. But you need to try to incentive more Open World PVP cause that was a promise in this game. PVE players cant simple choose not flag. A good idea could be to insert also PVP high rewarding areas but also focus on SOLO PVP players or small parties (you need 3 partys to go to outpost rush)

90% of players cant join wars… so they loose that PVP experience and lot of people autside of PVP simply don´t flage cause they feel that the reward for flagging is not enough and it’s not worth the risk.

Lot of players only have 1 or 2 hours to play after work, so give them PVP opportunities.

Faction system dont know if is the best, you need to think more on this, cause in a lot of server one faction is missing, and the players want to choose a good faction cause territory benefits. This need a alternative strategy and /or incentive to belong to the weakest factions (MAybe a “Guerrilla Warfare / Revel buff” to give to the weakest faction, but that bennefit not only applicable to WARS… we need a benefit also to players that can`t play wars (90% of players) that belong to the “Looser” faction.

  1. THE ECONOMY:

You need a solution for this, to give the players a better experience on the economy. Think economy is bad cause the player base is really poor. Think also we need more gold available cause we have lot of items at 0,01 that don´t sell, that is a clare sing of deflation.

Separate markets was a great idea if player base is big… maybe separated market could work but if was “Cross server”… we will see how works unifiyng and linking the markets… that could help… but we need feel that we can have more gold quickly and not to feel that taxes will kill us. Think that simple adding “money drop” to mobs is a symple solution. or giving us the posibility to sell items to some npc… don`t know… but would be great to have a better experience on rewards (cause the majority of equipment items s.u.c.k.s and just don´t sell, also good items don´t sell well) … so plase Better the economy and made it more enjoyable, whitout the needed to particiapate in a war or Out post rush… made it accesible also for solo, small party, and or casual players… they also want to have some gold.

  1. MORE OFTEN, MORE QUICKLY AND CLEAR COMMUNICATION:

Invest in more community managers, make community participate more on this could also help. Show more often to players that you are listening.

Please, on response to player big concerns, and when you communicate the important decisions and thinks you are doing (Bans for example) please be more clear. Try to use Pinned posts with clear titles to each big concern, and also posts on social media with titles more clear for each concern (SEO purpose) and with pinned/tagged news on important place players can know the important things: That you are aware of concerns (Banning players, exploits, etc)

Try to avoid long posts that touch lof of topics cause sadly the people dont read to much, they preffer more concise info, and titles, and/or bullet points.

  1. TOO MUCH TIME “RUNING”

You could add mounts or just finish quest when we accomplish objetives, whitout the need of turning back, that is a more satisfying expeirence.

  1. MORE DIVERSIFY MOBS/SCENARIOS

We know that you are working on that… plase make also AI of mobs better. Cause is not a good experience to figth high level mobs with the same attack patterns as low level mobs, and also same design.

  1. WATERMARK SYSTEM

The idea is good but need improvement… or changes, cause lot of players are pissed off trying to rise the wattermark of each weapon… cause some random “Rare and High level drops” at low rates could help… Chest respawn only each 24 hours also… and you have people just killong for hours the same mob to raise watermark :confused:

  1. BIGGEST SERVER; MORE PLAYER CAP IN THE FUTURE (WITH MORE RESOURCES)

With this you will not have the problem of doing merges so quickly and/or long queues, but we know that for this you need more tech, more money, lot of developement, cause of this i have no problem with the Idea number 5 that is: NEW WORLD PREMIUM

  1. Finall idea: NEW WORLD PREMIUM (I don`t know if most of players like this idea)

Micro transactions such as korean game really s.u.c.k.s. (BDO, etc) but maybe could be a great idea and a good money flux that you can invest on game developement, to have a New world premium account (After all the bugs fixed, and after you give the community something important for free in compensation for all the patience, bugs, explioits queues and errors)

We want new wolrd to succed, we want NEW WORLD to be the best MMORPG in the history, we want a bug server with 10.000 players or even more!!! and we know that you need money to develop and build the tech for that.

Think that charging a premium account with benefits for those people that cant play the game for 4 or 6 hour a day. Could be some xp, or luck benefit, could be less taxes… don`t know… but lot of people cant play like 1 or 2 hours per day and have a great gaming experience. Maybe im wrong, and of course in this point you also need the feedback of the community.

Thanks for all guys! hope this game to be the best ever… i know all the errors and was also hard and disapointing for me… but please, show and prove to all of us that you are hearing us, and players will come back :slight_smile:
