OK I understand the attrition of gear one is wearing is great for the economy. BUT what I have issues with is Damage to your inventory upon death.
I have picked up some nice BOE blue items and was going to sell them but with the serious intermittent lag issues a tough but winnable fight quickly becomes a DEATH and damage occurs to sellable loot. Once you repair it it is no longer at full strength so you cant put it in Auction House.
Again your actual gear your wearing makes perfect sense, but damaging items in the inventory is very frustrating.
the sellable items can be repaired an put up on auction house.
some items are bind on pickup, also items you ve equipped are unsellable other than commons
the main cost of death is inventory damage, this is substantially less loss than random item drop on death, or full loot, which would probably be more explainable.
how about not damaging equip wich is not bound to the player? all you have equipped is bound - damage it even if it’s in inventory, the unbound equip you’re going to sell - don’t damage
OK I found the repair issue was a bug. I had or something that wasnt letting me repair items in inventory. SO i retract it, The items in your inventory can be repaired and then sold (though no one seems to be buying blues so Ill just salvage them now) Repair ALL only repairs what you are wearing, while you have to manually R - RMouse to repair items individually in your inventory.
I still stand that the gear in your INV that should not be damaged though.
