The thing is, with truly bad games, people like you dont even exist. Those games just die silently.

Pretending that we all hate the game might make you feel a little better about declining numbers, but it doesn’t really change the reality of things. We’re here because we loved the game before it became bad. I think THAT fact is what bothers you people even more than the game’s poor performance itself. Other fans are telling you it’s bad and you can’t stand to hear that.

every week they fix something only for 2 or 3 more new bugs to pop up. I can only guess they are having to search through the mangled code that was done by the original devs. if you know anything about coding then you would know that this has to be whats going on. people are losing faith that the devs will even be able to fix the mess they have to search through. bugs balancing lack of end game content. they released the game to early. most of us knew and posted that the game was being released to early. bottom line is gamers where screwed again by a quick money grab.

True, but the other part of Capitalism is they’ve lost 100s of 1000s of future prospective customers for future endeavors in the gaming industry. So they do have an incentive to fix NW if they ever want another payday like the NW release. If Amazon doesn’t want to be in the same pile as EA, Blizzard, etc and other trash companies, they’ll fix NW.
I like people who whine about people whining. They are my favorite type of whiners!!

Besides the extreme lag on wars at the start and after a couple patches, the outpost rush issue with people on the limbo, I don’t really see how any of this makes the game “Unplayable”. And also lag affected just wars.
Neither I consider someone having fun with the game means they are biased to ignore the issues.
They have been working slow yep and that’s valid for people to feel frustrated and stop playing if the game stops being fun for them. The thing is, so many of these things do really would impact your game experience THAT bad? And I am not really saying “all the people” cause if it was everyone many wouldn’t be here playing still.
If you take a look around the forums, you see people complaining over the same stuff over and over and it’s kinda the same people creating repeats of posts wanting to ride the hate train for useless internet points.
A little minority do try to give actual feedback and usually these threads either get ignored because there is no hate from the OP or people start a huge debate outside of the original objective of the thread. Not all, but very few have people trying something.
Many of the things listed there got a somple workaround. Yeah, you shouldn’t need to use workarounds but if city stations were bugged and you knew it, is it that hard to just ask in global? Double clicking a jewelry is hard? Seeing a floating starmetal tampers with my game experience enough to bring it as a reason to quit?
We are also ignoring the fact that several of those have been addressed. Ofc, not all of them. But people are also forgetting all the changes they have pushed in order to cater to the community claims which imho have been garbage decisions as many of these forum lurkers don’t even play anymore and are around just for memes (Valid still, but is it really valuable?).
And I want to clarify, I do am still having fun, I do my daily stuff with friends and we set ourselves objectives and work on those. I am still not 100% happy with changes they have made but I’ve also noticed the devs do seem with the intention to improve the gameplay experience for everyone even if those changes aren’t of my taste.
Do be sure, the day the game stops being fun for me, I will leave. I play because I want to have fun and there are many stuff that doesn’t really makes it “Unplayable” for me despite being bad. Oh and my server has been low pop since the start and we been peaking like 90 lately lol, still, is not unplayable as I enjoy doing both aspects of the game.
Also “Unwinnable invasions” should motivate people to work on finding ways to beat them. My low pop server haven’t won any, but last time we got one down to 4 mins and motivated several on working on better organization, equipment, hunt for trophies and etc for corrupteds. In my own opinion, listing this as broken/bug is a wrong take on game objectives.

As someone who still enjoys the game, even at level 60, acknowledges that AGS need to step up here and there (and there are some big steps) and only really comment on these types of post as I still don’t understand this weird fanatism regarding player count and to be fair I have posted a few of those steam charts myself, as it seems to be a trend (though I have stated that they are not 100% accurate).
I can stand to hear other people saying the game is bad because believe it or not, that is an opinion and people can enjoy things other people do not.
If more people gave actual constructive feedback about the game but the low effort posts that a lot of people post these days, which include these player count ones, do not actually contribute anything to the feedback. Again I will reiterate something, I agree AGS need to step up.
Anyway forums silliness aside, I do hope you all enjoy this holiday period despite what’s happening around the world these days.

I’m not even sure if you mean bringing them up in a pro or con way. It seems like you’re making my point for me… hating this game but sticking around to try to convince others it’s bad just feels kinda desperate.
If people were so sure they were right about this game being bad they’d just leave instead of trying to convince everyone else it’s bad first. Just go already.

The only thing I can say about this, is let’s see what the numbers look like once the winter event patch is live. Some of the patch sounds kinda ok, mostly it just sounds like more grind, in a different format, but who knows. Could bring people back, could make an even bigger number than usual quit.
What do you guys think of the player numbers continuing to shrivel into a lifeless husk?
