For anyone saying “ ohhh but you can just farm your watermark up “ yeah no you can’t. It’s a massive gear score reduction with nerds to the source on top. This is a blue print on how to kill the game. I went from being super happy about the game to wanted to uninstall. These devs are completely clueless.

So AGS respond to that kind of post but ignore all the others… I guess I know how to make a feedback and get something form AGS.

Everything about the new Expertise system sounds like it completely destroys crafting and selling gear on the TP while also creating huge power variance between new/casual and those of us who No Lifed since launch.

Is there a plan for crafters to be compensated in this revision or are we looking more towards a BOP Crafting Meta? I know they are adding in another grinding loop for crafters, but is that going to increase our profits for being crafters at all?

Also for those of us who are already closing in on max expertise will Gypsum have any other value to us? Many players are already Max Armor and most weapons in the 580-590 range. It won’t take us long at all to max 600 what is left.

More grinding loops (APTITUDE) which has a literal never ending progression loop basically means HWM for Crafters. But do crafters actually become important as this grows? As it stands now crafting is not in a good place, these changes do not sound like they will get better.

  • Each subsequent marker awards a more spectacular container with more rewards than the one before.

Doesn’t this just promote power leveling 1 person (or streamer?) to the extreme so that they are feeding the best possible loot from these containers?

I really hope you come up with some solutions to better improve HOW we play the game every day, not just what we need to grind everyday :expressionless: As it stands now I never feel “forced” to play, I actually want to play. However, when I have to start noting my 24 hour timers for multiple things every day so I don’t “Miss Out” that creates a very different game dynamic.

We already have 24HR Cooldowns on crafted material, 24HR Chests and now 24HR Gypsum. Please be careful not to turn this into a mobile experience that leeches off players FOMO to keep them logging in every day to complete daily tasks with little enjoyment.

The power divide between the player base also leads to a huge window for Pay for Convenience opportunities which will honestly not just hurt the game, but any future products from AGS. If AGS gets a name for itself creating problems and selling you the solutions you will become Gamigo and that will stick with you across any future titles released.

  • Potion of 24HR reset (reset Gypsum, chests, crafting cooldowns)
  • Expertise potions that give double gains when you get watermarks
  • Yield bonuses to help you keep grinding that Crafters Aptitude
  • Buying Tuning Orbs
  • Buying Resources because players are sick of farming Iron and Green Wood
  • Etc Etc Etc

The ability to sell catch up mechanics with how this patch is shaping up is honestly concerning

That is my constructive feedback on this planned patch so far.

Kinda have to show your players that’s not true, cause at this point, everyone already assumes that AGS hates their players because that’s how AGS has been acting towards their players. As they say: “If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.”

I’m on these forums and the game daily, I see everything being said and the AGS responses. It always feels that AGS chooses to ignore their players, or just outright refuse to communicate with them, then do their own thing. The PTR is a joke at this point, because there is very little testing in the public test realm, and feedback on what’s happening in it is being ignored.

So new before balance and basic fixes is best, got it. I will continue to wait till a stable game is delivered. Till then back to the MTX stable lobby game that I been playing. Spent a nice pile of cash on that game too, amazing what a stable game can do.

That’s the problem. They’re making the decisions THEY feel are best, and not bothering to communicate with the players before hand to see if they SHOULD. Your comment very much acts to the point that AGS really doesn’t care what their players want and ignores them.

grind? now is brainless grind on elite with no scope after hitting lvl 60.

peple: Crying and blaming because now they have to play.

Its gonna be funny when most peoples earrings, amulets and rings gets reverted back to 510-515.

Aint like grinding watermarks for those particular items were realistic to begin with.

genesis 5 orb a week = 15 upgrade by yourself
you’r 5 peapol in genesis so we can assume eatch can craft 5 key that’s 75 wm without there special drop.

So 1 cap per week assuming you did killed some pve before coming to genesis.
Then you have lazarus and other dungeons when they provide mutation.
Malevolence and imperial palace that they buffed

We don’t have any numbers yet so you’r point isn’t made you’r just assuming stuff that you don’t know.

What feedback was left to make AGS feel THIS is what we wanted? This is the opposite of what I’ve been hearing people wanted.

It’s what AGS wanted not what players wanted. Clearly.
