FUN is already gone if you lose your houses for the 3rd time because Amazon did not fix the cant pay taxes bug.
Fun ends when you cant move your character for 3 days because you are stuck in air.
Fun ends when you crafted yourself a complete 600 gs armor and weapons, but the next update i get reseted to 510 because i spent my time in FUN things rather grinding 1 Boss for 2 weeks.
Fun ends when you log in and your server time got warped 2 month in the future.
Fun ends Wehen you log in and all thats left is 8% of the playerbase…. After dec update even this will split in half when the Last ppl see whats happening because they didnt read the forum.
So now we are here 30-130 players on each server. What Fun is left? You can Farm everything alone and share with no one. You cant share your acomplishments, you cant share your fails. You cant even flex on someone or discuss. You cant trade, you cant make Friends.
The past 1 month there are no new players joining the game.
You know how to stop hostile conspiracy theories to explain those decisions? By listening to the players and stop making bad decisions that affect most of the playerbase without a compromise for time wasted. Because without a playerbase there is no game. Trust me you dont hate the playerbase you just not understanding the waste of time you created for us.
I will quit if this goes through. 900 hours in game, consul in a company that holds territory.
Main reason is key parts of my gear are going to see their immediate effectiveness reduced 30% which is going to make it unviable for me to compete in pvp. It’s already hard enough being a tank, at least I had my 580 Rooks Defence. Thats about to become a 516 Rooks defence. And my 580 Infinity Crystal. Thats about to become a 505 Infinity Crystal.
I levelled jewel crafting and furnishing for my company and am the company lead in each of those professions. I did that instead of doing high water mark exploit boss farming. Amazon are telling me I made the wrong choice and my time in game since hitting level 60 in early Oct is worthless to them.
Amazon’s heart is in the wrong place. For them to even consider downgrading earned gear as an option, shows that they care nothing about the time their players spend. It’s massively disrespectful, and dishonest.
Every day since last Friday and the announcement of this, I contemplate logging in, and feel a sense of dread and disappointment. It’s not a game any more, it’s a grindy unfun chore where I achieve nothing when I log on.
You say as a community manager that you guys are taking in feedback. The thing is, this never should have got to this point. The changes made thus far have been a blatant and obvious push for a way to restrict players from playing the way THEY want. AGS is removing all avenues of play except for mindless mob grinding or PvP leaving crafters like myself in the dust. And don’t even attempt to say “well you can get gypsum for crafting”. Run the math. How long is it going to take a single player to hit 440k XP to get a single cache? 10.5k XP per craft using the most efficient method. I’m not crafting 50 pairs of tier 5 gloves for a 3 expertise bump, not to mention hardly anybody will be able to wear the items I craft so I get 0 return other than 1-4 materials when I break them down. It’s utter rubbish. And now because us crafter played the game differently we are severely behind others that farmed chests in myrk as a blobby zerg BEFORE AGS nerfed them. So they are already capped or far enough ahead of us crafters to where the gear discrepancy is 50+ points. Again, piss poor design.
That’s a false choice if I ever heard one…people can stop playing but still post their minds and opinions in the hope the powers that be will change their minds.
Maybe you should stop telling people what they can or can not do in the forums.
People bashing them because the devs want to ruin our gear(those who don’t want to farm stupid water mark, rather farm gold or craft) after the update we are no longer able to play the game because our gear will be 500 and thats it. this update will destroy the trading, and crafting aspect and the gearscore is become useless. it would be a great update without the gs down/upscaling.
I never played at 500gs. I dinged 60 at 470+ then bought a voidbent/lego set and a normal weapons like everyone else. So basically i started around 560gs. Right now Im at 596 and my watermark is still around 510.
This is basically the exact boat I’m in. I didn’t want to do the chest train, so I went the trading post route. It’s literally an option in almost every MMO I know of. If you buy your gear, you have every single right to do so with the gold you’re about to shell out. In return, the seller who’s selling it for a high price will succeed in their sale, and the buyer will succeed in the milestone of buying that very expensive piece.
If you count logging in and doing you faction dailies and logging out 5 10 mins later cause there’s like 15 30 on the whole server than yeah ftm I am playing but come patch time if things still suck…I will be moving to some other games.
If I going to have to solo shit I will do it in a singple player game if need be that I can actually have fun in.

I’ve not logged in since Into The Void, dude. I thought they’d listen to the outrage but they just keep making it worse so at this rate might as well just uninstall.
that cant possibly be true. adding yet more grind? the grind should feel rewarding not the slow slog thru unbalanced overtuned muck to just barely make it by…even right now with a high GS the game is still just badly balanced. if anything OVERnerf npcs so we can do the content and maybne enjoy it. most seem to be grinding looking for the enjoyment…my most fun isnt even the end game as its too overtuned and i just farm mats waiting some real balance will happen so i can DO said engame but it so far out of balance i cant even touch it…but instead you throw yet MORE grind on top of overtuned grind with some more grind around every corner…when the 2 lvl 60ish expitions run are being sold for 1k and up a pop something is very very overtuned…
