Describe the issue you are experiencing: Game freezes and then crashes while decorating house while in 90% of the house locations, I have to find random spots where I don’t crash to quickly throw furniture down before it freezes and crashes again. This is the same story for literally everyone I know who plays this game and decorates their house.
Is this a bug or an exploit: bug
(if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I can’t decorate my house, I have recently entered a corner where I cannot move at all it is completely frozen and I have to shut down the game.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Decorate a house. The thing that I notice before the crash begins is the “Decorations Placed” number starts to go crazy about 2 seconds before the crash happens. This has to be affecting 10’s of thousands of players, how this is not a known bug yet I have no idea.
System specs - i9-9900k, 2080ti, 32gb ddr4 4733mhz cl18 ram, windows 10, game installed on samsung 980 pro m.2 nVME ssd - also happening on various other systems of people I know who play the game, gets worse as you place more items in your house. Now that my house is at 215 items it’s basically impossible to decorate
Same issue here… house in Everfall on Atvatabar server. Soon as you open the decorations menu the game will freeze every 2-3 seconds, screen fades, windows circle appears, pop up asking to close program or wait, click wait, few seconds later it unfreezes only to freeze again in 2-3 seconds… very upsetting to take 30 minutes to decorate your house with a few items.
This is a HUGE issue making the game unplayable when it occurs. IMPORTANT: this may or may not be the contributor, but when it happens, the game ‘thinks’ I have too many placed items, as the number in the top right always shows as (some higher number/ acceptable limit). Once the freezing finally ends, the number goes back to the correct amount.
I AM DONE BEING PATIENT about this! I have been paying taxes every week on my 20K home and it is UNUSABLE! EVERY time I try to move even ONE item it freezes on me! Im trying to take everything out of it now because it is a waste to even keep it but I cant even do that because it constantly freezes and takes at least 30 seconds or more to unfreeze every time I click! This is and has been broken for weeks on end. This needs to be fixed asap or I want my 10K back.
There are numerous threads on this. They HAVE to know. They just are focused on War and other things that they feel are more important. I understood that at first but its been weeks and weeks with no reply from them.
Decorating the house freezes the game, and can also crash the game. Please. This is for so long now. Can we have a fix for it?

Should be a bug. This needs optimization! It freezes when I press “Show owned items only” It loads twice the items when I open decortion mode with “B” etc
same issue here. I have a house in CK and a house in ebonscale Neither has this problem. Bought a t4 in EF tonight and every time I try to place something the game crashes. three times in a row now. got one thing placed and it says I have 96 placed. (I certainly do not)
I’m not crashing out, but damn the freezes are so long I’m even scared to try to do anything in the house.
Is just really annoying that even adding a chest/trophy in the house becomes a 10 min praying job.
