Hi all, We are aware of a possible gold duplication exploit that has been circling and we are temporarily disabling all forms of wealth transfer between players (ie. sending currency, guild treasury, trading post, player to player trading). Any player that has engaged in the use of this exploit will be actioned against. Once the gold duplication exploit has been investigated and we are ready to turn on wealth transfer again, we will update this post. Thank you for your understanding.

What does “Any player that has engaged in the use of this exploit will be actioned against.” mean?

Games more established and experienced than yours have found it very hard to fight all forms of duplication and cheating.
And any short ban is worthless as they will probably have moved the funds.

AT A MINIMUM there should be a full account wipe for these cheaters and anyone helping them – completely erasing all characters. Completely emptying the treasury of any Company that received funds from them. Anywhere the funds or items could have gone should be actioned against. And don’t waste time figuring out every penny, just delete characters and Companies.

“Actioned” seems like something you would say when you probably know you wont be able to ban them but you still gotta say something to calm the situation
