i love my bow but for the heavy users, there should be some deflection, when were shooting head on, same with the musket like a 30% chance of deflection for those heavy’s so they can lead the charge.
Think this would allow heavy’s to feel more powerful as well.
Yes they should have a hard time catching a dude in a tack suit, while wearing a metal suit of armour but deflection was a major thing and should be added.
Rng elements make game worse. NW combat is nice couse skill does matter - aiming, timing, iframing - it does adds up.
Adding any rng to the game will make is worse than it is. Online games where you have pvp should be based on each player skill not on random number generator.
that’s the point, we should have certain spots like back, or side, but if you hit the chest deflection chance, we would have to aim more and get closer, which would make, for more skilful combat and make more fun for heavy’s, since some just sit forever away shooting which takes no skill. I am 625 every weapon, i have a bis bow, aboriginal atunment, enchanted, explosive empowering arrow. Im not saying this because i want it easier, i want it more skill based. Also this would be more fair for heavy’s and im not saying mediums i said heavy’s which have no + to damage.
You can compete with 2 perks on 600 GS perk items. Sure ppl with BIS or near BIS will have adventage, but if you outskill them, they will die. Only player with your skill lvl or above will be a problem.
