lol if only there was arguments from Halcyon but most of the time its “i dont understand”
1.) You can mute individuals.
2a.) They can’t simultaneously wipe the tradingpost clean AND leave the server broke, If they’re wiping clean then they’re PAYING whatever price the server is selling things for, which would leave them the opposite of broke.
2b.) Got some names of these known perpetrators?
2c.) So they’re playing the game. Is something they’re doing somehow preventing others from doing the same? PvP is completely optional, you know.
2d.) What’s stopping people from farming their own materials? How are these bogeymen taking every farming node AND every town AND forfeiting invasions in such a short time?
What I see is mostly conjecture and hyperbole. I’d watch FOX News if I wanted that kind of crap.
After further thought, a short cooldown seems desirable for paid transfers because it would get people off your server faster, wouldn’t it?
That’s because the arguments presented are idiotic and inconsistent at best. Not many mentally developed adults on the forums these days. Love that you’re so obsessed with me though. ![]()
LMAOO So I guess you dont understand how it works…
You take over a town, than you collect all the taxes being payed by the players posting those high level items in those towns. Now yes, the player does get the cash, but now those items are being moved off to another server and not being purchased by the people who need them. It must have slipped your mind that people actually need things in the game…
No … again see above.
Its been nearly a week, and I will explain it again so your small brain can understand. FULL companies and their alternate companies are transferring in. Its been nearly a week they have been around. In that week they have taken the 3 major cities Winds, Everfall and Reek. They have drained the TH’s of all mats, top tier items, and things needed for crafters. They are posting players at all Ori / most Star Metal nodes on the server 24/7. They have enough players to cover this, and and those that do find nodes out in the world that arent posted on can barely collect enough cause we are all trying to collect the few nodes they arent posted at.
You clearly enjoy the idea of trolling in an MMO. You clearly just enjoy arguing. The issue is very clear even though you want to deny it.
Have a nice life. I wont be replying to any of your garbage posting again.
Whew the mental gymnastics!
Let’s get this straight:
The PvP bogeymen simultaneously buy all the gear and materials yet leave everyone broke.
“They” ruin your server but you want to give their ticket off the server a longer cooldown.
“They” somehow steal all the farming nodes with round the clock coverage of every node.
“They” can somehow own every territory and sell all the gold to a game with a dwindling population to continue funding their illicit round the clock crime spree.
OR
Maybe you’re just hysterical.
I went ahead and googled a gold seller, looks like the current value is about $0.70 per 1000 gold. So if we go with your top end estimate of 3million gold, that’s $2100 for the official gold sellers, per week. Now, the gold sellers would not be paying that much to the companies otherwise they’d make 0 profit. So let’s say the sellers are really generous and buy it at 0.50 like you say, that’s 75% of market value, which would be pretty generous. That’s $1500.
Server transfer is $15, which means for a 50 man company, that’s $750, or $1500 for a full 100 roster company, more if you’re adding sister/shell company members.
Let’s pretend a 50 man company can somehow lockdown an entire server because everyone else on the server, like OP, are completely worthless. IF the “Toxic PvPers” aren’t keeping crafting stations up, then they’re not pulling in bankroll from taxes. If they’re buying all the stuff off the TP, then they’re no making gold, so, if they do the most lucrative option of maintaining the town and riding the money train and can manage to sell all their gold, they might make enough money to give each of their players… maybe 20$ a week?
That’s… not even remotely worth it for anyone at all, and that’s in a make-believe highly improbable best case situation, and even then, they’re not ruining the crafting stations like OP claims if they’re trying to make money off of it.
Maybe they’re not doing it to make $$$ but doing it to continue to pay for server xfers in order to ruin the game for other players. There is no bounds for the toxicity of some players.
There literally was a company on Orun that transferred from Oceana, killed the server and then transferred again to follow the other big company the obliterated. On discord they bragged about making a lot of people quit… they’re getting off destroying the player base in this game.
“Items” are in infinite supply. They just need to be gathered, crafted, refined, etc. However, the “items” are time-gated in how fast (or how willing) they can be gathered, crafted, refined, etc, which imparts a false scarcity to those items and hence gives them “value” in the game world.
A company could take every item in the TP off the server and over time, all the items could all be replaced.
I think they changed it to 72 hours but IMO that is still not enough. People do not need to change servers everyday or even every 3 days. Legit people just need to make better choices. Anyone else is just using it for personal gain or server griefing. Neither of which should be allowed. 30 days should be the minimum IMO.
Sure, overtime they get slowly replaced at drastically increased prices until the TP fills up again. In the meantime people cant get what they need when they need it. My TP has been wiped out at least 3 times now.
Still not moved, amazing.
No crafting stations, you cant craft orbs, no pvp you cant earn token to buy an orb. Eventually the orbs run out and nobody can do anything.
Sorry but gathering and crafting is a big part of PVE and PVP of this game.
TOS ban Shell Companies
Make a few examples of shell companies.
Bans if they continue to do it.
120 Day transfer timeouts
Change station upgrades and upkeep to town boards. Make invasions completely random, no leadership spot period. You sign up, you play. Since everyone has skin in the game they should come to win.
Since it’s 50+ the difficulty should match the average levels of the players expertise at war start.
Increase rewards for closing portals including meaningful delays in when invasions happen.
Make invasions only happen during weekend prime time hours.
Prevent wars on holidays in the regions the servers are on. Christmas, Memorial Day, thanksgiving, boxing day, 4th of july, labor day, easter, dios de muertos, for North America for instance. Limit wars to Tu/We/Thu and invasions to Fri-Sat.
At the current level of players both should be one a week at most. It’ll prevent burnout, and slow down the pace of group combat.
Still not moved…
If your a pve player then you can ignore pvp and you dont need 3 perk best in slot gear to do end game pve. Mutations are essentially about high gs and ward gear.
Most pve bis is named world drops you have to farm yourself.
So no paid transfers dont ruin the game for pve.
Paid services keep the game running. They need more of them. They also need to nerf / remove income from territory ownership. Its too much haves vs have nots.
You should take a laxative or see a doctor.
Oh how creative …
Good post!
I myself have come to call it a choice to PvP or Not to PvP, and the servers should be PvX, or PvE.
PvX is what we currently have, where folks can play PvP of PvE, depending on what they want to do at any particular time.
PvE is where folks like you and I, get to finally opt entirely out of the mess that is PvP, and just play the game already.
When AGS claimed (truthfully and disingenuously) that I could play NW without ever having to flag for pvp, I thought (incorrectly) that that meant I would be playing on a level playing field, where all paying customers were created (and treated) equally. Such was most certainly not the case, what with all the “core game mechanics” they kept (and failed to publicly disclose at launch) from the bad old pvp days. Then they doubled down on that idiocy, and went and continued adding additional ‘bonuses’ to the folks that feel like playing pvp, while leaving the majority of paying customers left out.
This type of (discrimination against their paying customers that don’t pvp) in not just bad manners, but bad business, as well.
Amazon is getting a bad name, because AGS thinks that doing these things are fine and dandy, and I fear that NW is going to die because of this, and if that is allowed to come to pass, Amazon Game Studios is never going to make a penny from me ever again, no matter what future products they try to market, as I see how they have acted in bad faith with respect to non pvp players/paying customers.
And, as AGS shares Amazon’s (formerly good) name, I’ll have to rethink doing business with the parent company as well, as the kind of mindset that is becoming all to clear at AGS is repugnant and disgusting, and if the parent company is not going to take a strong and corrective hand at reigning in this blatant garbage, then I’ll be forced to conclude that the same bad manners/bad business is going on there, as well.
Right now, no paying customers have the ability to actually ‘opt out’ of the hot mess that is, and will likely to continue to be, pvp, because we are all playing on the same servers and share in the same (deeply flawed) economy.
Fix this by making PvE only servers, and do it quickly, as time is running out…
Very true!
It’s a PvP focussed game, bye.
Its just a game.

Oh ya, thats why there are raids, and quests, and they JUST added Arenas …LOL It was such a PVP Focused game! :rolls eyes:
