Will we keep both characters with this upcoming merger? I have a level 60 on each server with a lot of progress / hours put into it. I don’t want to have to delete either of them

Hello @Pandabay83,

Thanks for bringing this concern to our attention, every time that a merge happens the players that have active characters on the merging server pass to have them both on the same server with everything they had on the previous server.

There’s nothing to worry about in this case, you will have 2 playable characters on the same server.

Hi @MatosQc,

The only way for this to happen is on a merge, and this is an exception for those who has characters on the merging servers, other than that there’s no way to own 2 characters on the same server intentionally.

If this is going to change on the future is a great question but I haven’t seen anything remotely related to that :sweat_smile:

And think about people with 2 characters on the same server with 2 different faction !
They wanted to forbid the acces to 1 character to not be able to be in 2 faction and now look what is going on and this is going since 1st merge on New World. :frowning:

Let him the time to read and answer at least and i thank him to answered me :slight_smile:

Hope you’re doing great! When I mention the exception is because is an special situation that you have 2 characters on different servers and those servers are merged, this doesn’t mean that we don’t treat all our players equally, is just a circumstance that lead to a situation, I’m sure you can understand.
