Exactly. To be fair, I didn’t notice they nerfed it from the original value, but I still don’t get the reason why they would implement that kind of buff without any alternatives. Atleast force people to make a decision if you prefer having that DoT duration reduction or some other kind of buff.
Yeah I really don’t understand the need for this.
The biggest balance change we need is to increase HPs by like 50-60%+ and damage by a small amount like 10%.
Then suddenly: the burst meta is diminished, the relative power of light ranged is nerfed, zergs don’t go 100-0 instantly when lacking heals but heals will still be impactful enough, sustain becomes a more viable method
I think there are multiple new foods. There is also a food that increases stamina regeneration by 17%. Like dex guys really another way to get more stamina haha. I havent seen the other foods but I am willing to be there are a variety out there that is going to be a disadvantage/advantage to some.
replying to my own comment. as i am currently playing the ptr and put an arboreal runeglass gem on my greatsword i forgot, everyone who puts a runeglass elemental gem on their weapons is going to be rocking some pretty sick dots. so just another slight balance to that maybe?
I see why this is so concerning to you and others BRADLEY, so I will get this feedback sent up the chain to the Dev team, have a great weekend!
The food you’re talking about is a remnant of the Alpha. It has been in the game before and probably just been added by accident. It’s also not on the PTR as far as I know.
negative, its called cranberry compote, not to be confused with berry compte.
I’m talking about Sweet Cranberry Brew though. Was in the game in Alpha 2 back when you could stack 3 food buffs. That being said, they might bring it back but it doesn’t seem to be on the PTR currently (unless you have to find the recipe).
Ehm are we playing the same game? Did you somehow miss the insane buffs weapon perks got recently?
I think you have to find the recipe. On phase 1 of this round of ptr where they introduced the greatsword and new 1-25 line i opened a food basket from a quest reward and Cranberry Compote was in there. Stamina regen 17% for 30 minutes. Havent found the recipe yet tho.
Yeah I got some of that berry compote on the lowbie character I made on ptr and was surprised bc I had not seen it before
Did you miss the fact they also buffed dot skills like keenly jagged? Bro
and they also nerfed sns a ton, same for blunderbuss, bow and other burst combo weapons
It’s appealing to the team deathmatch mindset.
Get in, push some buttons, kill some people, die a bit. Everyone feels like they “contributed”.
Just make it so it dont stack with other food buffs and its no problem. You can even buff the food abit.
Rapier’s bleed tree is unplayable? come on man, people are shredding with that combo, even more with all the bleeding duration perks. It’s not like let’s say a gem that you put in your armor and lower a type of damage, is a food that not everyone will use, and the ones who do will get 1 maybe 2 secs less bleeding duration (in this case). So much drama man
It does stack with both Hearty Meals and Attribute Food + It is incredibly cheap to craft meaning it will be mandatory to run it at all times unless you want to troll.
Exactly. This heavily nerfs the damage of FnF which solely relies on the duration of Tondo bleeds to deal damage. And no, nobody is “shredding” with that combo against anybody with half a brain.
So it will stack with this new stamina regen food?
Honestly I have yet to see the food ingame, still unsure if it actually got implemented or if it’s just a remnant of the Alpha, where all the cranberry recipes were available before. Would be awesome if there are more options so that people actually have to make a choice.
If anybody got their hands on the recipe and could check, I’d be really interested. I have no problem admitting I’ve been wrong, but so far I have seen a lot of people talk about it but nobody ever presented any evidence of it existing outside of the database.
you know there is a perk that makes bleed/burn last % 39 more
have they made any changes to the hard nerf to dot builds?
