I would love to see you address the ridiculous lack of balance in pvp. we all know that ags won’t do anything until the pitchforks and torches come out. I personally have decided today to leave the game, until they fix things. I am only interested in playing bow, and this last change completely ruined all bow mobility and definitely NOT just when you jump. the time to get moving again after shooing is SO slow, and the animation itself is slow, and the arrow leaving the bow after the animation is delayed and out of sync, and the arrow speed is too slow, bow was barely hanging on and they outright snipped that thread holding it. Things like the very easy VG>IG one shot anybody combo and the ease of landing these abilities is literally bizarre compared to their damage. You get my point, there’s a bunch of other things that fall into this category. The lack of pvp rewards and just options to pvp is lame. My biggest regret is being forced to grind to 60 in the most boring repetitive questline ever created and the stupid billion chests and lame monsters to get my watermark and GS up, just to have my class nerfed into the ground when it was already the weakest among them
I worked really hard for what I had achieved, now they’ve destroyed it and I’m just crushed. Sure I probably care too much about a videogame, but it’s all I do with my extra time, and to me it matters a lot.
the jumping animation was simply not the only thing which was changed. Other animations and the fluidity between them was destroyed. Especially the most basic of them all, auto attacking and returning to running.
This is a problem with a large fraction of “bug/exploit fixes.” Instead of fixing the root cause, they add a buffer window during which something cannot happen to prevent the exploit from occurring, but that buffer window has other unintended negative side effects. It’s like when they “fixed” the GA exploit for infinite bloodlust, but as a side effect you now have to point your cursor at someone for two seconds before it activates (and two seconds is a LONG time when you’re chasing someone), whereas before it would happen instantly. It’s a seriously concerning trend when all of these workarounds make the game worse when they claim to fix bugs.
neither should putting unnecessary, stupid delays at the end of dodges that make the combat more clunky than it needs to be. Removing ani cancelling is fine as long as they fix their clunky crap system.
It would help so much if they would just stop ignoring the complaints from everybody about this subject. The more they ignore us the more angry we become. We feel unheard. Like our concerns are invalid or overlooked. The massive decline in players speaks for itself.
