Hi,

i have a really annoying desync(stuttering?) issue since i upgraded my rig. its only happening when im playing pvp.

old:
Cpu: intel core i7 8700k
Gpu: Geforce GTX 1080ti
mb: MSI z370 a-pro
ram: g.skill aegis ddr4 3000 mhz
storage: Samsung 860 evo 500gb

new:
Cpu: intel core i7 13700k
Gpu: Geforce Rtx 4090
mb: Gigabyte z790 gaming x ax
ram: G.Skill Trident ddr 6400 mhz
storage: Samsung 990 pro m2 1tb

what ive tried so far:
cpu: OC, undervolting, hyperthreading disabled, only p-cores
gpu: OC, undervolting
ram: xmp enabled (6400mhz), disabled (5600mhz), single, dual

temps are fine.
eac allowed through firewall.

desync has only gotten worse last few patches. PC specs have about 0-1% to do with it lol.

Have you moved from Win10 to 11 with the upgrade?

Cable or wifi?

I know someone who had issues with stutters in the game and it turned out to be his recording software. If you are running some kind of recording software, then maybe try turning it off and see if it makes a difference. Just a wild, wild guess :smiley:

dont play online games on wifi :wink:

things u can do:

  1. verify game files in steam
  2. limit fps using nvidia panel
  3. check if ur network isnt the issue

run command prompt
there: ping google.com -t999
Leave it for like 5-10min or longer. Check results. You want to have 0% package lost.

I am pretty sure they downgraded the servers that is why there is a lot of lag lately.

I have no lag no dsyc issues. So not the case.

The game is poorly optimized, coded, everything. Everytime we get close to a big update the game is literally starts deteriorating. Every day I have more stutters, more bugs and things not working as intended . It happens everytime a big patch is about to hit.

I have no desync issues and I play on a AMD setup with a 4090 and DDR5 ram and run on w11.

Make sure your bios is updated, make sure you have resizable bar turned on as well. Ensure your motherboard nvme slot is not contested with the GPU as well. Some lower end motherboards do not have enough PCIe lanes, and some nvme slots go through the southbridge and are not connected directly to the CPU.

Also dont follow those guides, go back and reset your settings. Desync is not a problem with graphics, it’s a problem with latency, packet loss, and where the server decides if it’s a hit or not.

Make sure your NIC is running at 1000/full duplex and not something like 100/half-duplex

Do not play over wireless!

What’s the RTT value for the game?

I read in another forum post that someone had problems with the wired connection, so I tried both :stuck_out_tongue:

  1. i verify my games files almost daily.
  2. tried several fps limits (142 fps, 72 fps, 58 fps) no difference.
  3. my network is fine, i have no packet loss

2022? You mean day 1, it used to be 15 times worse rofl. It has gotten better but it still can be bad.

Like I’ve never seen this happen before. Watch carefully.

I have also seen videos emerge if that wrecking ball and other abilities doing triple damage. The game just falls apart before big patches. Literally.

Finally fixed most of my stutter, was due to windows 11 and tomahawk b550 issue. Bios release as of 24 Mar fixed it.

I know this was a popular option for 5600x and 5800x back in 2020, so if anyone has this combo, go update right now.

checked everything u said.

bios is up to date. resizable bar is enabled. m2 is directly connected to the cpu.

NIC is running at 1gbs/Full duplex.

im not playing over wireless. Just tried it once to see if my cable is the problem ^^

RTT is between 40-50ms

honestly mate its most likely just the game, that rig could launch a nasa space ship
