In case my company owns a territory and its thrown into conflict state by another faction, how long do have to decide when to defend the territory?
for example, the territory is in conflict on Thursday p.m., can I choose to defend on Friday p.m.?
I don’t believe you have a choice in the matter. Set your siege window, and the game looks for the first available window within 24 hours. Invasions and such can delay it a bit, but you don’t get to control that in any way shape or form. You just get to set the time of day.

Thank you for you reply, but I don’t think it is within the first 24 hours of pre-set siege window, e.g. war is declared at 4pm, siege window is at 7pm, the war won’t happen within the same day, am I right?

Sorry, yes. That’s right. In my brain, I thought “the 24 hour period starting the next day at the same time as the war declaration” but didn’t fully type that. You should get at least 24 hours, sometimes more if an Invasion is triggered.
If there’s an invasion already set to happen, I don’t think you can even declare until after the invasion is resolved.
