Thank you Devs. Do not pay attention for the spoiled brat aptitudes and posts of some self entitled gamers. We love the game and we most of the players will stick around after the patches.

The thing that has to be realized here by people complaining–yes, you can complain, but the fact is, there isn’t much more than AGS can do than they are already attempting to do. I understand being frustrated–I am there and have been there for a while now.
But truly, demanding more communication than we’ve gotten when they have nothing (yet) or demanding things be done quicker or whining endlessly about things that have been discussed, really helps no one.
Despite what some people on this forum might think, they do not just sit at work and twiddle their thumbs. Yes, destructive bugs have been introduced quite often these past few weeks, but the rate at which AGS is attempting to solve them, is a bit commendable.
My only true hope, is that they end up adding a test server for testing things with the community instead of deploying fixes that break more than they fix. Thats my main constructive criticism. But I think people just need to simmer down and wait it out a few months.
These devs have not earned appreciation. You earn respect and appreciation in your position by doing your job to its fullest. These amazon devs have not done that. They deserve no praise. No participation trophy, and zero thanks.
Game breaking bugs do not last this long in games. Think of the last time something this bad happened. Lag switching bugs? This shit was fixed in 1999 Everquest. Thats how old these dupes have been around. Now they reappear in 2021? Thats DEVELOPER ERROR. Nothing more, nothing less.
Game breaking pvp bugs like hatchet and ga staying in the game for almost a week. This does not happen. Things like this are hotfixed with in hours. Not weeks. Again no praise deserved or earned. Lazy developers and lazy coding got you here. Why would I praise you for that?
What actually needs to be said to these developers is this:
TURN DOWN THE SUCK. Right now you are at 11. I need you to be somewhere around 3. So turn the suck knob to the left.

How do you know they are not working to THEIR fullest? What do you know about lazy? Heck what do you know about development?
When you work hard at your career and its your focus everyday, you would know sometimes shit doesnt pan out and goes south. All you are left with is correcting the mistakes and hope its appreciated, cause AGS can just say screw you guys its complete and take their earnings.
For real, all the complaining for the community must be hard to see. Do they really think the devs are just taking their time, calmly looking for a fix? NO! They are working incredibly hard! I hope they see these posts too.
+1 to the devs, especially with all of the hate, you are actively working/fixing things, people don’t realize how bad other games have been
The state of the game is how i know they are not working to their fullest. Its not rocket science. Its common sense. I know you want to hand out participation trophies for the failures at Amazon but in reality the best thing here is to tell the honest truth.
That truth is…they made a game that will go down as one of if not the worst releases of all time for an MMO. Slap that on a trophy and hand it to them if you want to thank them.
Imagine 2 bugged passives ruining the entire game for a week and not being hotfixed. Imagine lag switching working in 2021. New world devs can. Give them a trophy for that too.
all i can say is this:
they post hotfix on friday afternoon, when nobody is working
game is burning because of exploits, mages can’t play
their response: well its weekend, we will replay on monday night.
I haven’t seen a game in my life where some hotfix breaks whole character; and they need more than 1 week to fix same mistake they needed few hours to do.
At very worst, they can delete stuff they added to the code and still have functional weapon,
But hey, they’re testing every patch before they release it that is why there are 0 bugs in game!
You have this affixation on ‘why should everyone deserve a trophy’ when that’s far from the point here, this isn’t a discussion about coddle culture. I’m also getting this feeling you don’t know what hard work and working to your fullest is, as you’re overly self opinionated about how game development should go, yet the only experience you have is playing them from what I would presume. Complainers tend to have zero skin in anything they persue.
mechanically appealing? what kind of shit did u smoke? all the mechanics in this game are broken.
I’ve enjoyed all my open world pvping, everything else seems fine. Seemed pretty smooth to me. A lot of these complainers have to have at least one thing they enjoy in this game… Imagine lurking on forums for games you so seemingly despise?
Imagine instead white knighting for a game who has this many issues. We have a reason to complain. You have no reason to stand here on your high horse protecting lame duck developers.

Gotta say, must be soul destroying as a dev to release a game you’ve worked hard on for years to have thousands of people intentionally trying to find cheats and exploits 24/7 to ruin the game. It was easier making single player games back in the day. That way, cheaters and exploiters just ruined the game for themselves

Well as i understand these devs you mentioned not working for AGS in fully paid job but they are doing charity job.
Yeah great job devs! You fixed 3 traits and managed to break 11 more with that fix! You have made some traits make you invincible, WELL DONE! You haven’t even fixed the chat bug, you put a worthless band aid on it, the way to go around that “fix” was to change one word in the code. AMAZING, SO GOOD. You have managed to enable such ridiculous easy gold dupes that you had to disable the auction house. What a great and TOTALLY ready game you launched, it’s definitely not in beta!
It’s basics is so damn fun so please atleast fix all the major exploits. I don’t want this game to fail, but you are making it so damn hard for us who doesn’t live in lala land and only enjoy to pick flowers being lvl 36 after 200 hours.

+1 to the OP. Even with all of the bugs, I’d still rather play NW than any other MMO.

I can see you are out for blood, campaigning for the end of the game and spreading false rumors, raiding haters to provide back feedback, at the end, after all bad you have done to aggravate the situation, the devs will fix and patch the issues. The game will be as great as it is, and players will have a good time. Besides all your efforts to make things worse, with evil criticism, seeking to destroy, you are the losing part.
We are thanking them for their extra effort working over time to get things fixed.
