Hearing the devs now say things like players “skipped progression” or “bypass progression” is absolutely ridiculous.

But this is my issue. Fuck the slower grind, whatever, we’re already playing an MMORPG and we get we’re lifeless schlobs.

But like. If you’re gonna say these players betrayed your vision. Why insulate them? Why make their position more secure, harder to reach? If they are the problem, why punish players who didn’t rush by adding all these extra grinds? Why reinforce the fruits of the labours of ‘skipping’ progression???

I just don’t get why they claim these changes are targeted at them when maxed players who ‘skipped progression’ are the only ones who won’t be dealing with anything in the notes.

If gypsum can be traded or sold, it in fact gives them a new market to control, which just exacerbates the issue all over.

Lol dude. I keep trying to figure this out and I can’t. Makes no logical sense.

Literally the apes that farmed tentacles or things like that won’t be affected in the slightest.

This is hogwash most the proposed changes benefit the people that exploited the system. Adding more grind on top of an already extreme grind for anyone not skipping grind with coin is silly. The crafting feels like it was designed by someone that failed math.

The balance changes are falling into what I call the yo-yo system where you make large enough changes at once that nothing ever gets balanced. They are just swinging from one side to another, and walking the dog.
