As a developer myself it is just amusing how much stuff you f*** up and how long it takes you to fix just simple stuff, e.g swapping several entries in the database (large and minor mining veins).

Because people have been going nuts to turn on Outpost Rush for weeks now, even with bugs. Search the forums here for the many… many. MANY posts saying just give us Outpost Rush even if it has bugs.

Kay is one of the good ones, you guys bandwagoning her because she has made herself accessible to the community isn’t fair, imo. She was the one dev who actively and regularly engaged with the alpha community to make the game better. Where the information goes and how it is handled after that we can take issue with all day, but as far as individual devs go, Kay is top tier.
Now plz fix our game already

Please note that it’s not just the “hatchet damage issue”. This same bug is replicable with all talents that say something like “X is increased when Y or more monsters are within Z meters”. Every single talent in the game with that type of description experiences this issue. The hatchet one just stacks where most of the others are a fixed increase.
Their response was the most damaging move in MMO history: shut down the one thing that exists to work against this glitch, the slot-limited, POSTED-item system (aka “tradehouse”). They will aim to solve a problem that didn’t affect one person by creating a problem that will now destroy the game completely.
Let him feel that he is good on his field… he might be receiving this kind of words in his workplace and just wanted others to feel it too, let him feel special atleast on this one

Different root causes of the same exact exploit? it’s my opinion they overlooked this after the CB. because to me its the same thing, EXACT!! 100% not 96 not 60% its 100% the same exact exploit, done the same exact way.
I can sympathize as well too, fix one issue 10 more happen, its how coding works. But unlikely the same exact issue done the EXACT same way is still there if its fixed.
the “NEW” company exploit is new, but the trading dupe, that’s been there since beta.

there is no backend. it is a POSTED item system. what part of POSTED does not show why it’s never messed with?

Been hating on this game for a few days due to the enormous amounts of bugs/exploits/poor game-design (and felt like my grind to 60 was for nothing) but it’s good to see some transparency coming from one of the devs. Actually gives me some hope that this game might not be some cash-grab by Amazon. But in the current state I’m happy I decided to take a break from this. Let’s see how this all continues to go from here on. Please continue to give your legit playerbase the much needed clarity on the things that are broken here.

if its the same exploit done the same way, and they “fixed” it but still happens. im not going to sympathize crap, they messed up, own up. i sure would.
Repair Kits, silently taking gold for repairs anyways? Working as intended? Are repair kits intention only to replace need for parts?
