This game could be so much better if there was better network coding, unfortunately so many features are actually so crap with ping. I am sure there are lots of individuals who have ping issues like myself because of distance to the nearest server.
If developers play the game with 300 ping they would see the issue and resolve it. The client side experience can be improved without ruining the game.
From where are you playing the game and to what server are you attempting to connect? Im playing from EU to NA East servers and only got 120 ping which is normal in every game.
Not sure which games you play but 120 + ping is considered high ping in every game and thats the moment where things happen delayed and start lagging.
Most players in “every game” have 20-60 ms ping which is normal if you connect to a server in your region.
I play from EU to NA East so the 120 ping which is normal and yes if I play on EU servers I get around 10-20ping. Most games 120 ping isnt that bad just gotta kinda plan in for latency.
Talking about New World the game becomes unplayable in PvP with a Ping of 120+ thats for sure.
A Ping of 300 like this guy has makes your character even move slow as hell with any move it makes.
Well I can tell you rn 120 ping even going up to 150ping aint that bad in NW PvP having 1700h in it and still playing activly in wars and general PvP. But yes once the ping reaches 200+ thats when stuff for sure is unplayable xD been there once trying to play with a friend in Asia… was not a good time.
tbh couldnt take you serious after reading your first statement how 120 ping is fine in every game but now knowing that you also play PvP in NW but you still call high ping fine i should just headout from this conversation. have a nice one
Welp I tried all I can say. Maybe im just used to it at this point but legit I play most games on NA servers with that ping because most of my friends live in the states. Eh have a good one
I am playing from South Africa to the nearest server, we don’t have the luxury to trying out other servers, tbh the ping is about 200ms but the rubber banding is insane, it breaks immersion so often and as you can imagine is just general shit at 60 where mechanics better for pvp and pve.
Developers couldn’t beat me with 0 ping BIS bruiser build if I ran light mage. Facts.

O ya if your ping reachs 170-200 it really becomes unplayable ngl all I ment was 120-150 is fine even in wars and I havent had any issues in legit most games I have played.
