Not sure why you have taken such an approach to Over wolf they way you have. From an informational point of view, you can get information on node location etc just my running a webpage in a browser, If you have a 2 monitor setup almost like having it in game even. I accept there a different level of what information can be displayed, i.e is node up and harvestable etc, but at the very least a passive map harmâs no one.
The rubbish that has be stated that players get an advantage over those that donât use it is just a smoke screen for âwe didnât have time to do a mini map before we pushed game to early out the doorâ it is something that should have been in the game since launch. No real arguments on this.
I completely understand you donât want anything installing itself in the client code, that would be unsupportable and just open the door to easy exploiting etc, but have you ever considered of making available a secure third-party API, for third party tools such as this to use?
